(Hazel)
Hazel was awoke by the sound of
Hannah's high-pitched squeal. "MISTRESS HAZEL. MY LITTLE PRINCESS. HAZELHAZELHAZELHAZEL." Hazel groaned as she was screamed and pulled at. "WAKE UP. YOU'RE WAY BEHIND!!" Hannah exclaimed as she shook Hazel violently once again.
She opened one eyes and glared at Hannah. "Hannah!" She snapped, pulling her hands up from under her sheets and prying the chubby hands off her. Hannah's eyes shown. "Oh thank goodness! I thought you would never wake up," she said dramatically, putting a hand on her heart. "Ah, how tragic that would be!" Hazel rolled her eyes. "What time is it?" She asked groggily. Hannah bit her lip. "Twelve-thirteen. You slept in terribly late!" Hazel sat on the leaned on her bed stand.
"Oh."
Was all she said, fiddling with her fingers. Hannah nodded eagerly. "Yes, yes, I know! Young lady, she had me worried sick!" Then her plump lips turned up-right. "Why were you sleeping in so late, Mistress?" Hannah smirked. "Did you sneak out to see your lover, hm?" Hazel raised a eyebrow and blushed a light shade of red. "N-No of course not! I wouldn't never-"
"Aw, your soulmate, your beloved, your other half, your BOYFRIEND-"
"No! No, no, no, no, no! Hannah, really!? I'm just tired from all the extra work!" She shook her head, exasperated.
"You always make everything so dramatic.." She pouted, folding her arms. Hannah laughed whole-heartedly. "Oh, you love me anyways!" She gushed, dancing around the room like a ballerina. Hazel couldn't help but smile. "Sadly," she said playfully. Hannah chuckled. "The good news is that while you were asleep, I've pick out your clothes and sorted your work and everything!" She motioned to the ruffled shirt and pants on top of a dusty wooden chair. The shirt, Hazel will admit, she liked. It was a red long sleeved shirt with ruffles down the middle. The pants were her usually black cuffed. They went perfect together. "Thank you, Hannah," Hazel said sincerely.
Hannah nodded. "Anything for you, mistress Hazel." She smiled. "Well, I suppose it's high-time for me to get ready! Hannah, would you please-?" Hannah chuckled and stepped out, shutting the door with a hefty slam. Hazel scooted out of bed and clumsily slipped off her night clothes and slipped on her day ones. She yawned and covered her mouth half-heartedly. "Let's get going." She mumbled to herself as she glared at the desk full of (sorted out) piles of work she needed to do. Hazel sighed and brushed her lightened hair over and over again before braiding it. Then, she opened her door and slid out.
As she walked towards the kitchen, she noticed something odd; it was quiet around the manor. Usually it's buzzing with life, mostly by Luka. She shrugged it off, dismissing it as a lazy day, and walked into the kitchen were Hannah was Fredric were busy making lunch. Hazel smiled lightly then silently went into the dining room, sitting in her usual chair. She glanced around at the eight other empty chairs, one of those that was pulled out. That one was Luka's, which gave her a clue that he had been there before, but guessing that he already had his lunch.
Hazel patiently waited for her food, and when it came to her, she quickly dove in. It was a simple plate of corn, peas and chicken. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until now. She could hear Hannah's giggles and Fredric's remarks on her piggish eating habits, but she didn't mind them. After she finish, which took about ten minutes, she gave her plate to Fredric and he vanished back into the kitchen. A few moments of silence passed, then Hannah spoke up.
