Chapter 27

i woke up and looked at drea we had to go to church with mom and dad today when somebody called me

"hello",i said

"are you ready we will be there in 45 minutes",she said hanging up i got up and took a shower and did my routine and got out and dried off and wrapped the towel around my waist i opened the door and she was gone i walked in the closet and she was finding something to wear i put on my boxers and my suit pants and my shirt and my tie i put on my socks and shoes sprayed my Cologne and picked out my hair out and put my earings on and my wacth and got my jacket and walked back in the room drea was doing her hair i unplugged my phone and walked downstairs and fixed me a bowl of cereal i was eating when drea walked downstairs she looked beautiful she grabbed a apple and walked out my mom honked the horn i opened the door and she walked past me i got in the car

"goodmorning",she said looking at us

"morning mom,dad",i said putting on my seatbelt

"morning",drea said doing the same i touched her hand she moved it i sighed and looked out the window..... when we pulled up at church we were the first people there my mom hates being late

"chris,andrea",rev said

"hey",i said shaking his hand

"hi",drea said hugging him

"so your mom tells me that after church yall need to have a little talk with me",he said i looked at my mom and she nodded

"yes sir about our marriage",i said looking at drea

"okay well after service just stay put",he said and we nodded and walked to where my mom and dad were sitting drea sat a distant space from me i scooted closer she moved people started coming in when i saw kerri an old high school girlfriend she looked the same but taller and her hair was longer and features were more defined

"chris you see kerri",my mom asked

"yeah",i said

"stay away from her",she snapped i gasped and church was about to start "cell phones off",she said i turned it on slient and drea turned hers off he started talking

"good morning church",he said

"good morning",everybody said and we did praise and worship and he started preaching about love,and being faithful i looked down and looked at drea she looked like she was about cry i held her hand she didnt refuse she held it back and they took offertory and did communion church was coming to an end they said the final prayer and people started leaving

"dont move a muscle",my mom said

"baby their not kids",my dad said

"i know that but im not fixing to let the best thing that chris has leave him because of his stupidity",she said i am sitting right here

"okay well they are going to be awhile so are we supposed to just sit here",he said

"no lets go we will be back",she said and they walked off when kerri walked up to me

"heyy chris its been awhile",she said i looked at her

"yeah hey kerri this is my wife drea",i said

"hi im kerri",she said holding her hand out

"heyy",she said shaking her hand

"Christopher, Andrea follow me",rev said we got up

"it was good seeing you",kerri said i nodded and we walked to rev's office i sat down

"so your mom tells me that yall are having some problems tell me about it",he said sitting at his desk i was gone let drea talk but she wasnt "how do expect to fix it if you wont open your mouths",he said looking at both of us
