Chapter 14

It is now the month of December we were putting up decorations Chris was on the roof putting up the sleigh and we were on the bottom putting up all the other stuff

me: Chris please dont fall

Chris: im not I got this

I laughed

me: cam lets wrap these lights around the trees

she took the light and we wrapped them around the tree's we put lights on the bushes and then Chris came down and put the lights around the frame of the house I looked at CJ was putting up Santa and Jose was putting up the grench I smiled and cam was putting up a seesaw with Santa on one end and a snowman on the other when we got all done we walked in the house

me: cam, Jose, Cj,Chris shoes

I make them put their shoes on the door so snow wont be tracked all through my house

cam: mom can we put up the tree

me: yeah

me: Chris go get the tree please

he went up in the attic I followed to get the lights and ornaments and ribbon and the star to go on top on the tree we walked down I put the stuff on the floor and Chris put the tree up and I handed cam some lights and said

me: come on

we put the lights on the tree and then the ribbon and then the ornaments I smiled a d handed cam the star and told her to go to her dad she did but he told her to hold on because he was on the phone she gave the the sad face I grabbed a chair and stood her on it and she put the star up there she hugged my neck and said

cam: thanks mommay

me: you welcome baby

Chris got off the phone and ran upstairs and cam back down 20 minutes later with a suit on and his breifcase I know he wasn't going to work not on family day

me: where are you going

Chris: I will be back soon something came up at the office im sorry

me: caint it wait

Chris: no

he kissed the kids then kissed me

Chris: please don't be mad at me ill make it up to you

I didn't say anything he walked out the door and left I looked at the kids and they looked very dissapointed I smiled and they sat on the couch and the dog ran in here and they didn't even pay attention to it this is the twins first Christmas with their dad and it seemed to effect them the most I went in cjs room and grabbed some pen and paper and walked out I made three lines with each of their names I sat on the floor beside them and said

me: what do you want Santa to bring you cam

cam: I want him to bring me a dollhouse,an easybake oven, some Barbie dolls,a baby alive, clothes, shoes

Jose: mom I want Santa to bring me some clothes,shoes, Polo boots, an ipad, a g shock,a alot of toys

CJ: mom I want some money, shoes, clothes, Polo boots, an ipad 2,a lot of toy story stuff

I looked at them

cam: mom why do you want to know what we want Santa to bring us

me: because I have to tell him if you have been good or not

she nodded and said

cam: mom where's dad

me: work baby but you dont want Santa to see you pouting or you wont get anything
