Around us, the hum of the bus motor and murmurs from my section made for strangely cozy background noises.
"Are you excited about performing?" Denny asked, keeping his beautiful baritone to a low murmur.
If he knew all I had planned, Denny would not be asking this question, but for my ever suffering boyfriend, I knew that sometimes less was more. Also, I had no idea how to break the news that my ex 'thing,' Roman Stearns was going to be in New York the same time we were.
"Yes," I whispered, burrowing into his soft hoodie a little further.
