Why then, would my heart flip when I receive a text from Roman? Was it because it had been so long since I had heard from him? (And why doesn't my heart explode like this when Denny texts? I know love him, but I never experience the heart out of my chest thing with him).
I look at my phone and nibble on my thumbnail.
