Chapter 3

I opened my eyes to the bright morning sun. I shuffled in my bed and put the covers over my head

"Elora" there was a faint voice coming from outside the door. I grumbled and looked at Luce's bed. She was gone, now I had to get up.

"I'm coming" I yelled as they knocked on the door once again. I opened the door and saw Trent standing there with a plate of toast on one hand and a cup of orange juice in the other

"Good morning" Trent greeted me as he let himself in

"Morning" I told him

"I brought you breakfast" he said handing me the plate

"Thank you" I took it and went to sit on the bed

"So what are we doing today?" He plopped himself on Luce's bed

"We?" I wondered

"Yeah, Luce could only get three days off and I'm taking care of today and tomorrow" he told me

"I want to go shopping" I stated

"I'll pay since you can't afford new clothes" he teased pointing at my ripped pajama shorts

"Hey don't make fun of them they are very comfortable" I told him

"If they are really comfortable then I rest my case" he told me.

"You better" I told him and went on eating my toast

"Let's do it" he yelled

"Ahhh do what?" He scared me and made me drop my toast

"Let's go shopping" he said excitedly

"That's what we gonna do" I told him

"But I'm eating, fine you can start my laptop is on the desk" I pointed to the desk next to the closet

"No I mean shopping like in a real mall outside of school" he jumped off the bed

"Are you crazy?" I asked

"No come on it will be fun" he tried to encourage me

"No what if we get caught, my mom will kill me" I told him

"We won't get caught and if we do my dad will bail us out" he explained

"It is not so simple" I refused

"Come on it will be fun" he begged

"Okay, but if I get in trouble I will punch you" I told him

"Okay, hurry get changed" he pulled me off the bed dropping my toast

"My toast" I whinnied

"I'll get you some over there" he pushed me into the closet. I changed into a black pair of jeans, a white tank top with a black leather jacket, and some black boots

"Ready?" He asked

"Yes" I said reaching for my phone

"Hurry" he pulled me as soon as I got my phone

"Okay I'm going" I said trying to catch up with him. We walked out of the elevator and headed toward the main office, where the entrance door was at. The entire school was surrounded by a 10 foot bricked wall the only entrance and exit was through the main office so no one could get out or in without registering and no student could sneak off.

"Trent I'm scared" I told him as we watched the ladies in the front desk as they typed in their computers and wrote on the pampers they had in the desk

"Wait here" he told me as I sat on the floor and leaned on the wall

"No Trent don't leave" I pulled his arm
