Chapter Seven: Shattered Sight

"Artemis, do not hurt them." Zatanna objected, defending the couple.

"I'm not going to hurt anyone, but I am willing to do what is necessary and knock em out if they try to hurt anyone else." Artemis

Connor was the last to wake from the group, he was shouting and roaring with anger. "What hell is your problem now." M'gann complained.

"You!" He glared directly at M'gann. "I can't believe I was so blind!" Connor exclaimed.

"You were so blind!? I liked you! I should be the one complaining!" M'gann protested.

Zatanna and Artemis watch as each couple tear each other apart. "Not that I'm complaining but I thought they will kill each other, not just trash talk."

"The curse turns you into a person with so much hatred, it just builds up inside. Eventually, they will hurt one another." Zatanna intoned.

The couples kept complaining and arguing with one another, their faces turned more red after each time one of them spoke. Connor was the first to twitch and the first to attempt to break the chains.

"Oh you want some of this?!" M'gann growled. "I can destroy you with a thought!"

"How about I shut you up with my fist!" Connor sounded cruel.

"Will all you babies just shut up!" Aqualad shouted. "You all deserve to punished, since you all let Tula die!"

Aqualads he tried to electrocute the chains to weaken them as he attempts to break free. But he noticed that the collar prohibited Kaldor's use of mystic energy. Kaldur roared and tried to break free with mere physical force. His motives for inflicting pain to his friends involved their 'efforts' in saving Tula.

Zatanna flinched with pain. "Artemis... Kaldur is... trying to... stop him!"

Artemis fired an arrow at Aqualad, the arrow hit his chest, stopping him from moving. The arrow produced foam which soon covered his entire body except his head.

"I can't believe I fell in love with a fat, selfish, stupid and lazy douchebag!" Now Nightwing began his complaining.

"You think you're so smart and perfect." Wally whinned.

"I am, I can totally wreck you, you would end up disastrous. Very, very heavy on the dis." Dick taunted.

"Come here you shit!"

All were shouting and fidgeting, trying to get out the chains Zatanna had placed them in.

"Uhhggg, whose idea were the chains. How am I supposed hurt this pigeon over here if I'm bound all over!" Wally exclaimed.

"It's the magic bitch. Her and her little backwards fucking words." Dick sassed.

"Say one more word, and you're roast duck, birdy." Artemis threatened.

"Oh yeah, are you going to shoot me with one of your little green twigs, Arti farti?" Dick teased. "and for the record, I'm not Robin anymore."

"I'll make you one of my little green twigs you little sh..." Artemis was interrupted by Zatanna. "Artemis, I sense..."

A sudden rattle of belongings was heard from within one of the walls, grunts and crashing silenced everyone from their hatred with one another.

"What is that?" Artemis gasped.

"There's a fight going on beyond those walls." Zatanna answered. "But I sense high level magic incoming." She gradually spoke softer, Artemis didn't hear all of what Zatanna said.
