Chapter 5: They're....after.....me?

Author's Note:

Kira: Yay! Update!

Shirohi: Yep! What are we gonna talk about today?

Kira: The meaning of the character's names!

Shirohi: Oh yeah! My first name, Shirohi, consists of two japanese words. "Shiro", meaning "white", and "hi" meaning "light". My last name, Kenshiki, means "pride".

Kira: Yep! And Tsukika consists of two words also. "Tsuki" meaning "moon" and "ka" meaning "beautiful". 

Shirohi: And with that let's continue the story!

Shirohi's POV:

"Captain! Captain Kenshiki!"

I groaned as I rolled over. "I don't wanna get up, Tsukika...." I mumbled.

"Captain! Please open up! The Head Captain has requested a meeting with you in 10 minutes!" The voice called again, waking me up from my dream. My eyes snapped open as I processed its words and I jumped out of bed.

I threw open the door to see Izuru standing there, shocked from my sudden appearance. "What did you say?" I asked, nearly breathless. However, Izuru's eyes were focused on my top half.

I sighed. " Yes, I know I'm not wearing my top." See, normal Soul Reaper's bandages on their Shihakusho cover only around their stomach. My black bandages, however, cover all the way up to the top of my breasts (AN: Let's all be mature little boys and girls here please ^^) So, that way I don't have to worry about my top showcasing things I don't want seen.

Izuru blushed and looked at me. "S-Sorry, Captain. Head Captain Yamamoto requested a meeting with Captain Kuchiki, Captain Hitsugaya, and you. He says to bring your lieutenants with you. And it's in 8 minutes now."

"Dammit!" I shouted and turned into my bedroom again. Slamming the door in my Lieutenant's face. I quickly cleaned myself up: brushing my hair, washing my face, and throwing on my top and Haori.

I busted out of the door quickly. "How much time left?!?" I asked frantically.

"F-Five minutes, Captain!" Izuru answered. I nodded and we both started Flash Stepping as fast we could. I wasn't the fastest at Flash Step but, I was pretty decent at it.  You could tell because Izuru had a hard time keeping up with me.

Finally, we both reached the Head Captain's room and we opened the door quickly. We opened the door to see Toshiro, Byakuya and their lieutenants: Rangiku and Renji Abarai. I hadn't really talked to Renji before, I'd only heard he had achieved Bankai. He also had a close relationship to Rukia Kuchiki and Ichigo Kurosaki. Whoever they are.... 

I panted. "Sorry, we're late. I overslept a bit." 

The Head Captain nodded. "Do not be late again." He simply said.

"Yes, sir." I agreed and walked to stand beside Byakuya. I blushed lightly as he gave me a slight glance. What am I thinking?? It was just a glance, it wasn't like he smiled or anything....

"Captain Kuchiki reported to me the incident last night. I had the Covert Ops follow her Reiatsu and find out where she was headed. We now know what that woman is." The Head Captain informed us. "Meisukai Keitaku is an Arrancar of some sort."

My eyes widened. An Arrancar?!?!? "You mean those half-hollow, half- soul reaper, things Sousuke Aizen created??"

"Yes! She resides in Hueco Mundo as we speak! We don't know how many Arrancars she has on her side, we only know someone is creating these Arrancars for one purpose. Their purpose is to kill you, Captain Kenshiki, and dominate the Soul Society!" He replied loudly. I gasped in shock.

They're.....after...me? I've never met an Arrancar in my life!

"I've summonded you six because I want you to invade Hueco Mundo and bring down this group. I know it is a brisk decision but, we cannot afford to have this become something big. I have also contacted Rukia Kuchiki and Substitute Shinigami, Ichigo Kurosaki. They will accompany you in the journey."

We all nodded and the Captain tapped his Zanpakuto on the floor. "I had Kisuke Urahara prepare a garganta for you in the World of the Living. Tomorrow, at noon, you are to head there and meet up with the Substitute Soul Reaper."

"Yes, sir!" We all agreed.
