Phil was waiting, standing still, with his Yves Saint Laurent black suit.
He was waiting up on the altar, while hundreds people were waiting with him too, sit down in the church's benches.
Everyone was dressed up, most of them where other famous Youtubers like him, other were relatives and old friends.
Some of them were looking at him with a giant smile on their face, others were definitely concerned and failed to hide it.
Someone was clearly missing.
Th other half of the "YouTube power couple", as once Felix called them.
Phil laughed at that memory, but it was a nervous laugh.

"Where the heck is Dan?!" He thought, trying not to think about the worst scenario.

Louise, in her rosy-peach dress and blue high heels, finally walked over to Phil and with a tight smile she told him what was happening:

- Phil... Uhm... - She whispered, trying to find the better words. - I think we have a problem here.
- Wha... What? What problem?
- You should come and see yourself.
- It's definitely not the best idea at the moment Louise! - answered him, checking all the guests' concerned faces that were trying to figure out what was happening up there.
- It's actually the only thing that we can do. Come, come with me, hurry - ended the conversation the girl, taking him by the hand and guiding him outside the church, leaving all the people speechless, confused and without any kind of explanation.

When they were finally inside the car, Phil opened his mouth again:

- Can you tell me what's going on? I'm not exactly...sure of what's happening.
- Phil... Dan is... He is like... You know him right?!
- Yeah I do know him, since the last time I checked I was about to marry him... Like today!!!
- You will marry him, of course dear. He just need... Some motivation, I guess..?
- Louise stop talking like this and tell me what's going on!
- He is having an existential crisis for God sake!
- Oh... Like right now?
- Yeah! Right now!!
- Where is he?
- At home! I left him there, lying on the floor! I had no idea what to do so I thought I should bring you there! - She was almost screaming, making Phil feel even more tense and scared.
- But... What happened? I mean, what has he said to you? Was he like crying or something ?
- No he wasn't crying, but he looked... I don't know he looked terrified!
- Oh no no no no - Phil was clearly concerned now.
- You know him Phil. You know he has troubles with stress and big decisions...
- Well this is not the right time to be afraid of big decision!! I thought he had already decided and pondered enough! He doesn't wanna get married right? That's what he told you right?
- He hasn't told me anything. That's why I think he needs you. You will calm him down, talk to him. You can make him feel better, I'm sure. Here we are.

Phil rushed into their house, immediately reaching the second floor, where Dan was, exactly how Louise left him, laying face down the carpet, pale and still with his pajamas on.

- Dan? Dan are you ok? - Asked Phil, leaning towards him.

No answer.

- Dan please. Look at me. Phil's here, uh? Can you just please breathe and tell me what are you thinking of? Come on, it's easy - continued the boy, helping him to sit and gently rubbing his hand on Dan's back as encouragement.

- Phil, I'm just...
- What? You're just what?
- I'm going to screw this up! I'm such a terrible person! I can't, I really can't.
- What are you talking about?
- I think you're doing the wrong thing. Marrying me. We are so stupid. So stupid! What are we doing? What are you doing Phil? I'm going to ruin you life, you're gonna get tired of me. I will make both of us miserable.
- That's so silly Dan. Stop saying that.
- But it's true! I'm not worth it, Phil! Look at me, look at you. You can have so much better than this... Crap! I'm a mess, I can barely take care of myself, I don't want you to end up being stressed by me and all the stupid things that I do.
- Oh come on Dan stop it right now, you know more than anyone that you are important to me. The most important human being in the world.
- ...You're just saying that to make me feel better.
- Well... Yeah that's the point! But hey, listen to this. We're not gonna regret it, I promise. What can I do to prove it to you?

Dan wasn't able to say anything, so Phil, after a moment of silence, decided to take drastic measures.
He picked the sheet he had inside his pocket, unfolded it and read it out loud:

- Ok Dan, here we are. Take a deep breath because I'm about to read to you my vows. I know, it's not how we planned it but I guess you need to know now. So here it is. Please, come closer, put your head on my shoulder and try to relax. We are fine. We're completely fine uh? Are you ready? Here it is.

What would I do without your smart mouth, you're drowning me in and you're kicking me out.
When I'm with you I've got my head spinning, no kidding, I just can't pin you down .
You really should know that all of me loves all of you, all your perfect imperfections, even when you're crying, for me, you're beautiful too.
Dan Howell you're my worst distraction and I love that and everyone should know how beautiful my life is since you're with me. So yes, cards on the table, as today we are both showing hearts. I know, it's gonna be hard but still, I wanna risk it all.
Please, give your all to me, I'll give my all to you. You're my end and my beginning. Even when I lose, I'm winning.

- I thought you wanted to hear this before the wedding. I'm sorry I'm not a poet. - said Phil with a warm and sweet voice, waiting for Dan to say something back.
- Phil...
- Mhm?
- You really wrote that?
- Yeah of course I did!
- You really think that?
- Well yes... Even though I thought you already knew...
- I think I knew. I just needed you to remind me that.
- Are you any better?
- Phil Lester, you just made me fall in love with you again. And again and again. - Answered him before pressing his lips against Phil's.
- Dan Howell, I love you. I really do. But we have people waiting for us. I think this comes later with the honeymoon am I right?

They both laughed, visibly relieved. Dan looked at Phil, the love of his life, his anchor and his ray of sunshine and with a huge sincere smile on his face he said:

- I can't wait.
