~ Christmas Special Series 2k15~
You stood in front of the cashier quickly taking orders. It was near Christmas and there were more people than usual that day.
"One large gingerbread latte with extra whipped cream!" You yelled to your friend who was the barista.
You turned back to the cashier and looked up to see a guy about your age smiling at you.
He's cute. You thought. Ugh, what am I thinking, he's not going to even notice you. You're not in a book or a movie. You thought to yourself.
You smiled back and said, "What would you like to order?"
He looked up at the menu and pursed his lips, "Hmmm, I'm not sure." He looked back at you again, "What do you recommend?"
"Um, I don't drink coffee much, but since it's almost Christmas, I think the peppermint mocha is good because it tastes like a candy cane." You replied smiling.
"Ok then I'll get that in a large please." He ordered.
You grabbed a cup and asked him "Would you like whip cream?"
He nodded and you wrote down his order onto the cup. "And your name?" You asked.
"Minseok." He said.
"Min... Seok." You said as you concentrated on writing his name.
"Ok, that will be 4,000 won."
He gave you the money and you turned around and yelled, "One large peppermint mocha!"
He left and the next customer ordered.

It was Christmas Eve, and it was only about 30 minutes to closing time. There was only you and your friend still in the cafe.
You guys were talking when she suddenly got a call.
After she got off the call she asked you, "You know how to make all of the drinks right?"
You nodded, confused at her sudden question.
"I'm really sorry but I really need to go." She said looking at you with aegyo. You looked at her with a betrayed looked on your face.
"You're gonna leave me here all by myself?" You asked appalled. You looked at the clock, "There is literally, like 27 minutes left! Don't leave me here..." You whined.
"I really have to go though, my parents want me to come home right now." She replied.
"You just want to see your boyfriend right?" You deadpanned.
She giggled nervously, "Uh, maybe... Can't you let me go this one time? It's Christmas Eve." She said with aegyo again.
You sighed, "Fine. But you better make it up to me."
"Thank you so much!" She said as she gathered all of her stuff. "Bye!" She said as she left.
"Bye!" You called, "Have fun on your date!"
She left and you stood at the cashier bored. There was only about 15 minutes until closing time now. You had been cleaning up and only left enough out to make an order if someone stopped by. As if reading your thoughts suddenly a guy walked through the door.
"Welcome!" You said as you looked up. It's that guy from yesterday... Minseok. You thought.
He walked up to the cashier and gave you a small greeting.
"Hello again." You said, "Um, what would you like to order?"
"I think I'll have a large peppermint mocha again please." Minseok said.
He handed you the money and you began making his order. While you waited for the coffee beans to grind you decided to make small talk with him.
"So what brings you here at this time? It's almost 8 pm." You said bustling around making his order.
"Oh, I just was craving some coffee." He replied simply.
"Shouldn't you be with your girlfriend right now? It's Christmas Eve." You said trying to start a conversation.
"Oh no, I don't have a girlfriend." He replied.
"Oh, I see..." You said sheepishly.
After an awkward silence passed you asked, "So, are you going to spend Christmas Eve tonight with anybody, friends or family?"
"Uh, yeah I'm just going to hang out with my friends after this. Are you going anywhere?" Minseok asked you.
"Oh no, I'm meeting my parents tomorrow, so I'll probably not go anywhere tonight."
You put the final touch on his peppermint mocha, whipped cream, and handed it to him.
"Here you go, Merry Christmas!" You said cheerfully. "Have a nice night!"
"Thanks, you too. Merry Christmas." He replied smiling.
You turned around and started to clean up all of the stuff, Another Christmas Eve by myself, you thought to yourself as you sighed.
All of a sudden you heard your name being called. You whipped your head around and saw Minseok smiling at you.
"Um, since you don't have anywhere to go today... Do you want to come with me? My friends are thinking of going to Seoul Plaza Ice Skate Rink, then maybe go and eat something and go to karaoke or something."
You just stared at him for a few seconds surprised he was asking you this.
"If you don't want to go it's okay, I know we don't know each other very well..." He said sheepishly.
"Are you sure you want me to come? I mean..." You asked.
His face lit up at the thought you might come, "It would be nice if you come." He said smiling.
"Ok, I'll go, I just have to finish up here at the cafe, I'll be out in a minute." You said trying to keep your cool. I'm going out somewhere with him! You thought excitedly,Who cares if there are other people, at least I'm going somewhere this Christmas Eve.
You quickly cleaned up the coffee bar and took off your apron, you put on your winter coat, turned off all of the lights and went outside.
"Are you ready to go?" Minseok asked you when you came outside.
"Let's go."
A/N: Btw 4,000 is about 4 dollars, a bit less. I'm so sorry it was so bad... I tried to keep it short and, ugh...
