~Christmas Special Series 2k15~
A/N: This is for Kayla, Merry Christmas!
If you don't know what White Elephant is, it's basically Secret Santa but you try to give horrible presents.
Kayla and Samantha arrived at Chanyeol's house on Christmas Eve. Chanyeol, who was Kayla's boyfriend, was throwing a party at his house. All of Chanyeol's friends came too.
Kayla and Samantha brought gifts with them because Chanyeol had decided to make everyone play White Elephant. They had picked who they would give a present to a few weeks ago.
They walked inside and greeted everyone cheerfully. They had a Christmas tree up and all of the presents were under the tree. Everyone was talking loudly and laughing. There was food and drinks, and everyone just talked and played games until 12 am. Then came the main event.
"Ok, people! It's time for the White Elephant!" Chanyeol's voice boomed.
Everybody sat in a circle together in the living room, their presents in their laps.
"Ok, who's going first?" Kris asked.
Luhan pointed across to Sehun, "Let's start fron the youngest and go from there."
Sehun smiled mischievously, and slid his present towards Baekhyun.
"Here you go Baekhyun hyung!" He said cheerfully.
Baekhyun eyed is suspiciously, then ripped up the wrapping paper. He opened it and looked inside, he immediately made a disgusted face and threw the box away from him. Kai who was sitting next to him, burst out laughing at what was inside.
"Ewwww! That's disgusting!" Baekhyun yelled, plugging his nose.
Sehun was laughing his head off, and everyone looked inside the mysterious box. In the box was a cut up cucumber. Baekhyun hated cucumbers because of their smell, and because the cucumber was cut up, it smelled strongly.
Everyone started to laugh at Baekhyun.
"Good job, Sehun. You did well." Jondae said still laughing at Baekhyun.
"That was perfect!" Tao exclaimed.
Even Kyungsoo laughed a lot.
It went around like that, terrible gifts popping up. Chen got Suho some toilet paper, Baekhyun gave Kyungsoo and empty box, and Kayla somehow ended up with a pocket knife.
After everything was done, everybody was exhausted. Everybody was too tired to go home so they stayed over. Chanyeol and Kayla passed out blankets and pillows for everyone to sleep with. As everyone started to drift off to sleep, Kayla went out onto the balcony with a mug of hot tea in her hands. She sighed contently, looking over the Seoul skyline taking in the view.
"I think today was a pretty special Christmas, don't you think?" Kayla heard Chanyeol say behind her.
Kayla turned her head around to see Chanyeol smiling at her.
"Yeah, I mean this is the first year, we all got together for Christmas." Kayla replied back, smiling.
Chanyeol walked toward Kayla until they stood side by side.
"Wow, the view is really nice." Chanyeol said.
"Yeah." Kayla said wistfully.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY! " Chanyeol suddenly yelled loudly to the Seoul skyline.
Kayla jumped in surprise then covered his mouth with her hand. "People are sleeping Chanyeol!" She lightly scolded him.
When she removed her hand Chanyeol said to her, "C'mon, it's fun. Try it."
Kayla was actually thinking it would be fun too, but she had to at least pretend to be responsible.
"Ok, fine." She said, she took a big breath and yelled, "MERRY CHRISTMAS, PEOPLE!"
"Be quiet!" They heard someone yell.
Kayla looked at Chanyeol and started to laugh, and Chanyeol laughed along with her. And for some reason she couldn't stop laughing.
When they finally calmed down she realized it wasn't just because she thought something was funny, it was just that she was so happy! She was happy because she got to spend time with all her friends, and eat a lot of food, but also she got to spend time with Chanyeol on Christmas.
Kayla looked at Chanyeol and set down her tea and gave him a big hug.
"Thanks for inviting me and spending time with me today, it was really nice." Kayla said against his chest. He wrapped his arms around her and they just stood like that for a while.
Then he pulled away from her and she looked up and saw his hand hanging above them, holding some mistletoe.
"Chanyeol..." She said softly, touched by his action.
"Now it's time for my kiss~" Chanyeol said greasily, closing his eyes and puckering his lips.
Kayla smiled, and went on her tippy-toes and gave him a kiss.
"You're so cheesy..." Kayla told Chanyeol when she pulled away.
"But that's why you like me." Chanyeol said, pecking her on the lips again.
Chanyeol's right, Kayla thought as she stood in Chanyeol's arms, Today is a very special Christmas.
