(A/N) I know, I know. Sorry for not updating. Here's a cookie chapter. Also, 342 READS!?!?! Guys, you are awesome! -Convela

'So, any clues or memories you can share with me?' I ask, hopeful that Convela could help me.

She just shakes her head, her eyes scanning the forest and ears swiveling around. I sigh. "Always the protector, I see." I wander off towards the little shack. The riddle is still there, but as I examine it closer, I notice a faint marking underneath. It looks like a Phoenix with a dragon curled around it.

"Hmm? Wha-what's this? It looks like-" Before I could finish, another memory sucked me in.

~FLASHBACK~

A man was on my right. I didn't know what my age was, but I knew him. He stands up with a bow pointed just past me. He knocks an arrow and draws it back. I turn to see silver-red eyes, Convela's eyes staring at me. Telling me to stop him. I dive towards him as he release the arrow. A sharp pain radiates from my chest, and an angry roar echoes through the forest and into the village...

~END OF FLASHBACK~

I clutch the spot where the arrow pierced long ago. I stumble, gasping for air. Convela rushes to my side, but not before another catches me, his eyes full of worry and wonder...

(End of dream)

I wake with shivers. A warm body moves next to mine, and I realize that I'm back in the tree house. As I look around, I see Convela sleeping on the ground near my bed. I also see everyone else sleeping. I get up, careful not to disturb or wake anyone. I go down the ladder and run to the docks on silent feet. I can see the full brightness of the moon, her gentle light soothing and chasing away the dream. It was a dream, I think. "But it was so real. How can I go on not knowing about my past?" I whisper. But the moon nor the stars have an answer for me. As I lay on my back and look up, I notice a blazing star that wasn't there before. I felt it calling, a sad, sorrowful song it sang. I soon fell asleep humming it.

(A/N) Heyo! So, were any of you expecting it to be a dream? Or was it really a dream? Hehehe. *Evil dragon smirk* Any who, night! -Convela
