"that's uhh, that's your auntie"

"auntie who?, she don't look like none of my aunties" he said looking at me.

I sighed pulling up to the security gate that guarded people from entering our home without our permission.

"you probably don't recognize her, but that's y'all auntie Erica" I said looking at her through the rear view mirror, she just stood when she saw me pull up.

"ohh, yea I remember her. She hasn't been around in a long time, what she doing here?"

I shrugged. "I don't know, but I'm bouta find out, stay here" I said putting the car in park then getting out, I closed the door and walked towards Erica who's already walking up to me happily.

"oh my God, heyy baby brotherrr" she smiled hugging me tight.

I hugged her back. "wassup"

"oh God, I missed you sooo much, it's been too long" she smiled looking at me.

I put on a smile too. "yea it has, but uhh, what you doing here?"

"I told you I missed you. I'm here to see you since you haven't been texting me back all of a sudden, wassup with that?"

I rubbed the back of my neck. "uhh, I just, I just been busy, that's all"

"mhm, too busy to see about yo sister, I guess. I feel like you avoiding and ignoring me again, why?, I thought you missed me too, and wanted to see me"

I sighed. "I did, I mean I do, but y-"

"then why am I standing outside your house talking to you like I'm some stranger?, I can't be in your house or something?"

"nah, that's not it, it's ju-"

"well can I come in so we can finish talking, I'm sweating bullets out here, it's hot asš hell"

"uhh, sure, just uh, follow the car in" I said.

"oh I can't roll in the car with you?"

"It's no room, just come in when I open the gate"

"ok ok, I'll follow you in then" she said.

"aight, see you in a minute" I said before walking away.

"dammit" I said to myself getting back in the car.

"what happened?" Corey asked.

"Nothing" I said putting in the gate code.

The black double bared gates opened and I pulled in, I drove up our driveway and parked in front of the house, I turned the car off and we got out.

"aye Corey, take Blue in the house with you, and y'all stay upstairs for a minute"

"ok, come on Blue" he said grabbing hold of her hand.

I unstrapped SJ from his Booster Seat, Erica finally made it up the driveway. "Awww, is that my nephew Shawn Jr, he's soo cuute" she said smiling hard.

"yea, ima finna lay him down, uh, come in" I said walking to the front door.

"Wowww, this place is huuuge" Erica said in awe looking around.

"yea, look ima go put SJ in bed then I'll come back down so we can talk"

"ok, take your time lil bro" she said still checking out the house.

I wish I could, but I gotta get her out of here before Bey gets home. I went upstairs and laid SJ down in his bed, then I put cartoons on for Blue in my room so she won't wake up SJ in theirs. Then I went back downstairs to find Erica.
