He escaped the clutches of my dad and ran toward me. I stood my tall, but inside I was cowering. He grabbed wrapped his hand around my neck and turned to Batman, "Watch bat brains as I kill your baby" Joker began to lift my light frame from the floor. I struggled, but realized that was what he wanted. I stopped my struggle, looked him in the eye, and smiled. I was now dangling over the railing. " You got a little fight in you, I like that" He released his grasp on me and I fell. I closed my eyes, ready for the impact. I was confused when I hit something soft and not hard. I opened my eyes to see Robin holding me.
" You ok?" He asked. I nodded and stood up. His hand lingered a little long on my back. I watched the Bat charge toward Joker, but the clown jumped. He grabbed my arm and drug me out the door.
