I dont understand

---Luke's POV---

When I found out that Calum and Jocelyn broke up I thought it was something that Calum did. I didnt think my new sister would have done something. I wasn't going to pick sides. I can't choose my sister over my best friend but I also couldnt pick my best friend over my sister.

I didn't understand why Calum wouldn't talk to me. There is no way it could've been awkward. I wasn't even apart of the Whole break up thing. Jocelyn was very open about everything. She would knock on my door and come onto my room just to ask me how my day was and if I we're okay. I always replied with "good. How bout you?" She would say "ehh. Could be better." I would as always invite her in and talk about it with her.

Calum was really pissed off at me. I didnt know why. So I decided to talk to him about it. That was a mistake. "Mate? Why aren't you talking to me? Are you mad or something? Come on mate! Talk!" I yelled. "You fucking chose her side over mine you asshole!" He yelled back. I could tell he was frustrated. "I never picked anyone's side. I have just been comforting her. I don't have a choice mate! She is my sister and no matter what I have to protect her!" I yelled in frustration. "You could have told me." Calum said as calmly as he could.

I couldn't believe him! Who the hell just assumes that their best friend is picking sides and not choosing their best friend? The fact that he assumed that I picked her side really pissed me off. He couldn't have been more selfish! I ignored him.
