Chapter Twenty-Two

Guys I want you to know I absolutely hate proof-reading my own work. So if you've ever wondered why I tend to have more typos than I probably should, that's why. Literally I'd rather swim with sharks(I can't swim btw) before I proof-read my work. Anyway! This chapter is cute fluff with Zerrie and some Niam. Enjoy!

It was now or never. To say Zayn was nervous was an understatement. Niall found it utterly adorable that the vampire could be so on edge from this. Liam just chuckled. They were watching the vampire pace a bit in the den as he thought of how to ask Perrie out.

"Don't think too much about it. Perrie's very down to earth. Oh!" Niall said, clapping his hands together as he got an idea. "Take her to a carnival. I think here's one going on tonight. She'd love that."

Zayn looked over at Niall. "Oh, thank you Niall. I will ask her." He replied. Niall was beaming.

"Then go," He urged, pushing Zayn out of the room. "She's in her room reading." He continued to push the vampire towards the door.

Zayn chuckled. "I'm going," He told him before leaving the room. Niall turned around to look at Liam with that smile still on his face.

Liam walked up to Niall and wrapped his arms around his waist. "How about we make it a double date and I take you to the carnival as well?" He asked.

Niall's eyes lit up at that. "Yes!" He answered.

Liam chuckled and kissed his lips. "Go get ready then." He told the blonde, swatting him on the butt to get him going. Niall let out a laugh and scurried in the bathroom.

Zayn walked up to Perrie's door a knocked. It only to a moment before she opened it. "Oh hi Zayn, come in." She said, a soft blush on her cheeks. He smiled and walked in. "What's up?" She asked.

Zayn turned to look at her. "I was hoping you would let me take you to the carnival tonight, on a date." He replied. Perrie's blush deepened.

"R-Really?" She asked. Zayn nodded with another smile.

"I would love it if you would come with me."

Perrie grinned, running up to Zayn and flinging her arms around his neck. "I would love to!"

Zayn chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist. "I do not think you understand how nervous I was, thinking of how to ask you."

Perrie raised her eyes. "You, nervous?" She asked. "Can't be."

Zayn rolled his eyes. "Apparently I can."

Perrie laughed. "Let me get ready then." She said.

The vampire nodded. "I will be in my study waiting for you then," He smile at the blonde before walking out of her room.

It was after eight pm when the Niall, Liam, Perrie, and Zayn arrived at the carnival. Niall's eyes light up at all the colorful lights. Perrie dragged Zayn off somewhere else. The angel's eyes caught a giant stuffed teddy bear and he tugged on Liam's shirt, pointing at it with his other hand.

Liam chuckled and led him over to the booth. It was a game where you had to knock all the milk bottles over. The guy standing there smirked. "Try your luck?" He asked, handing Liam the ball.

Liam returned the smirk and nodded. He pulled out two dollars and paid the man then threw the ball. It knocked over all three bottles and the guy's jaw dropped. "I'd like that bear right there." He told the man, pointing to it. Speechless, the man grabbed it then handed it to Liam. "Thank you." He said, then turned and handed it to Niall.
