Chapter Twenty-Seven

This chapter is short and it's a filler chapter. But you guys will be happy. Enjoy!

Liam was sure he was breaking every spending and driving law in the books, but he didn't care. He knew something was wrong and he had to get back to Niall as fast as possible. Especially after what he learned from their un-wanted visitor.

"Actually, Liam, it already has."

Liam glared at the man who stepped out in to their view. "Who are you?" He asked.

"I work for Sophia and Josh. And all I can tell you is that you're too late." The man answered with a laugh.

Liam growled at him, disappearing in a flash and reappearing behind the man. He barely had time to spin around before Liam thrust his hand in to his chest, grabbing his heart and ripping it out, letting the body drop. He wasn't playing games.

"We need to go," Zayn reminded. Liam didn't need to be told twice. He tossed the heart aside, wiped his hand clean and ran back out of the woods with his brother. He needed to get to Niall now.

Liam barely parked before jumped out of his car and running inside of Perrie's apartment complex with Zayn following on his heels. He could smell blood, a lot of it. But he couldn't sense Niall or his baby. He didn't know what to think.

He burst through the door, the scent of blood hitting him hard. He ran in to the living room but stopped abruptly. Zayn did the same but instead of stopping he ran to Perrie's side.

"Perrie!" He said, kneeling next to the girl. Liam could barely feel her life force and he bit his lip, seeing the tears already falling down Zayn's face. "Perrie, please, wake up." He begged.

Perrie's eyes barely fluttered open. "Took...Niall," She managed to murmur.

"Shh, love, please rest." Zayn sat on the floor and gently pulled the girl in to his arms, rocking her now. He could feel her life slipping with each passing second. He buried his face in to the crock of her neck, crying harder now. "Please do not leave me, I need you Perrie." He sobbed.

"Change her."

Zayn pulled back when he heard Liam say that. "W-What?" He asked.

"Change her." Liam repeated. "You cannot lose her. Neither can Niall. And I will not lose her either. Change her. She will live. She will survive it. She is strong and she has you." He explained.

Zayn was quiet as he thought about it. He knew if he didn't change her she would die. She was dying this very moment in his arms. But at the same time he wasn't sure if she would resent what he did to save her later. But he decided he couldn't be without Perrie.

"I am sorry, love." He whispered before he extended his fangs and bit down on the left side of her neck. Perrie was barely able to notice what was even happening and Zayn was thankful she wouldn't feel the added pain. He kept his fangs in her until he felt her heartbeat picking up. He could feel her blood rushing now, signaling the start of the turning process. He pulled his fangs out slowly, licking over the wound to seal it. If she survived the process then she would be immortal as well and her wound would heal.

"Stay with her for the beginning of her change. I texted Danielle, she will come over to watch over Perrie. I know you want to stay with her but I think there is someone you will want to speak to first." Liam stated.

That's when a scent caught Zayn's attention. His eyes blazed in rage and he let out a growl of one name.

"Sophia."

Niall woke up with a start, panting and sweating now. He had the worst nightmare and all he wanted was to cuddle in Liam's arms. He sat up and looked around the bedroom for the vampire but his eyes widened and his bottom lip trembled when he realized this wasn't his bedroom. Suddenly everything came back to the angel and he started sobbing. He laid back down and cried in to his pillow.

Not only was he with Josh again but they killed his best friend, his sister. Someone he cared so much about and they took her away like it was nothing. The small boy was scared. He didn't know what was going to happen to him or his baby now that Josh had him again.

He heard the door open and his body tensed but he couldn't stop the tears that were falling. Niall felt the bed dip under someone's weight and a hand touched his back.

"Don't touch me!" Niall screamed through his tears. The chuckle he heard just made him cry harder.

"Oh Niall, I'll have plenty of time to touch you later, now that you're mine." Josh said, smirk evident in his voice.

"I-I'll never be yours," Niall muttered, his sobs never stopping.

"You will after I kill your mate. Zayn too while I'm at it. I'll kill everyone you love. Leaving you with no one else but me." Josh stated. "I'm already one down." Niall buried his face farther in to the pillow, crying his heart out. "Oh and the baby, that'll have to go too."

"Y-You can't kill m-my baby without killing m-me."

Josh laughed. "I have ways of killing that thing in your stomach. Don't you worry your pretty little head about that. After I kill Liam and Zayn that's next to go." He stood up, kissing the top of Niall's head "I'll be back later." With that he walked out of the room, leaving the angel to cry alone in darkness again.

Liam and Zayn had just left Perrie's place, Danielle now watching over the blonde girl. She was infuriated after finding out what happened and she wanted to kill Sophia herself. But she knew Zayn needed her to stay and Perrie needed her too. Zayn smirked a bit when he heard Danielle shout 'rip out her hair for me' before they had walked out. He was gladly going to do that and more.

"What do we do about finding Niall?" Zayn asked as they got in to Liam's car.

"I do not know if this will work, but since we are mated and I am stronger I think the bond to each other is stronger as well. And I am about to find out." Liam answered. He sat in the car in silence, closing his eyes and focusing on just Niall.

It took about five minutes but Liam was able to feel him. Feel the fear and sadness that was practically drowning the angel. But it was blurry. He could feel him but Liam wasn't able to do anymore. He decided to focus on both Niall and the baby, and the feeling became stronger but now it was clear. He could sense where Niall was.

"I know where he is," Liam stated, starting the car and driving off. Liam continued to focus on his mate, not knowing if Niall would be able to feel him. But he thought it was worth a try.

Niall wasn't sure what happened, but suddenly his body felt warm and his tears stop. He felt something. He wasn't sure what it was. But it felt like Liam. He could feel Liam! He wasn't completely sure what it meant, but it gave him hope.

Hope that Liam would save him soon.

Perrie might live! She just has to survive the turning process. It's brutal, I'm just staying. Have any of you guys seen Star Trek In To Darkness? If you have think of the scene where Kirk is dying and Spock is on the other side of the glass watching it happen. Once Kirk dies he throws his head back and yells 'Kahn!', well that's what I'm reminded of when I read the part of Zayn growling out Sophia's name. And now Zayn and Liam are ready to fuck shit up. Who's excited for that? I know I am. Anyway let me know what you guys think!
