Chapter 3.

Louis's POV

(During the school day)

"Hey look who it is! It's that stupid whorebag!" I shouted, knowing it would bring Daire down.

Me and my friends absolutely hate Daire. She's always trying to act cool, and wear Hollister and Abercrombie or whatever, and dye her hair blue and green, but honestly, it makes her look more stupid. And what kind of name is that? It's ridiculous. Besides, everyone in this school knows that. She's worthless, and it's obvious.

Daire looked at me after I said that, with pure anger in her face. I almost didn't notice though, I was too busy not caring. As I watched her walk down the hallway, I saw my friend, Jessie Quinn, trip her, and THAT was definitely funny to see. Me and Niall were laughing at her so much after that one. Right then, my phone buzzed with a new text message. I looked at it:

'Louis, can you come by the hospital after school's out? I need help with a few things for work. Thanks! -Mum'

(A/N) (I don't know if she actually works at a hospital, but for now, she does.)

Hhmm...okay. I texted back telling her I'll be there and then I headed to class.

At lunch, I was sitting with Jessie, and we were talking, and yeah, I guess flirting. I will admit, Jessie's skimpy outfit was a little uncomfortable, and her boobs were hanging in front of my face, but I went with it because I knew it would get Daire upset. And of course, it worked.

Once school was finished, I said bye to my group of friends, and headed to the hospital.

Daire's POV

(Back to normal time)

Oh no. This was not good. I was slowly losing consciousness, and there's Steven, exposed to my secret.

"Haha! I knew you were weak! You couldn't stand my power over you, so you crumble like the weakling you are! So predictable!" He laughed at me, and I had no idea what he was going to do next. I needed to get out of there, now. So I made a run for it.

I ran through the small gap in the doorway and shot down the stairs. But I only made it halfway down before Steven grabbed me and just pushed me down the rest of the way. Oh, the pain. It was nearly unbearable. I needed to get to the hospital. I ran outside and attempted to run to the hospital. It wasn't very far from where I lived anyway. I knew there couldn't be much time left before I passed out. And I was worried Steven was chasing me. Right as I made it inside, that was when I collapsed, letting darkness take over.

Louis's POV

I was at the hospital, helping mum with a few things when I heard a commotion out by the entrance. So I went to check it out. And I did not expect to see what I saw.

There was a girl, passed out on the ground, tons of cuts on her arms, still bleeding, bruises, cuts, scars, red, swollen. It was, woah. A bunch of nurses and doctors were around her, getting her into a room, to help her. So I decided to help them. I lifted the girl onto a bed and rolled it into an empty room. Afterwards people were thanking me, but I noticed something so insane, that it didn't matter who was talking to me.

The girls hair.

It's blue and green.

But there's no way it could be her, right? It's just so confusing. Could it be her?

Could it be Daire?

No. No no no. It can't be. She has no reason to be that badly beaten. Right?

She seemed fine in school, besides the fact that everyone humiliates her everyday. Why was she here? I decided that I would find out somehow.

Wow. Was I just feeling sorry for Daire? No! No way! But it was still sad...

Woah Lou! What are you talking about? You still hate Daire, she's still a nobody, and she deserves to be here.

After arguing with myself, I went to say goodbye to mum.

"Hey mum, I'm leaving!"

"Bye Louis! Love you!" She replied.

I walked out, passing by Daire's room one last time. Maybe I did feel a little sorry...
