Daire's POV

This was it. Louis asked me to be his girlfriend. I had gone through so much to get to this moment, and now here I am.(A/N: notice the connection with the quote.)

"Yes," I barely whispered.

He jumped up and gave me a massive hug. We just stood there in silence. But it wasn't awkward, just comforting. We swayed back and forth to unheard music, taking in the beauty of the moment.

After what seemed like an eternity, we went back inside. I helped Jay make dinner, and we ate. Once I was done, I headed upstairs to bed. I said goodnight to Louis and went to my room, letting my mind go free.

It had been a few weeks since me and Lou started dating, and I've loved every second of it. He always makes me feel so important, and loved. And I've also gotten closer to the boys, especially Niall and Harry. I go to them and Lou whenever theses anything wrong, and they always make it better. I've also found out that they are all AMAZING singers. They've helped me deal with Jessie and I've been able to meet all of their girlfriends. Liam is with Danielle, Zayn is with Perrie, Harry is with Claudia, and Niall has Rozlyn. They are all really nice, and we're all really close friends.

--middle of the night--

I was woken up by a noise. I looked at the clock, it read 1:27 am. I heard the noise again. It was outside, so I got up to check it out. I peered out of my window to see a person staring straight up at me. And it looked so much like...mum? What is she doing here? Why is she...revenge. She was here for me, so she could beat me. I noticed her gesturing for me to come down.

"YOU BETTER GET YOUR WORTHLESS ASS DOWN HERE SO I CAN KICK YOUR BUTT YOU POECE OF SHIT" Mum yelled.

I immediately ran to Louis's room, and shook him awake.

"Louis? Louis! Wake up."

"Wah...what's happening?"

"My mum is here." Right when I said that, his eyes shot open and he sat right up.

"Where is she at?" He growled.

"She's in the backyard."

"Stay inside, avoid the windows. I don't want her seeing you in here. I'm going to go check it out."

"Okay" I whimpered. I hated seeming weak in front of Lou, but I couldn't care less right now.

"Hey, you're gonna be fine. I won't let her touch you." He said. He kissed my forehead and gave me a quick kiss before walking out.

Louis's POV

There's no way possible that Daire's mum would hurt Daire. I wouldn't let it happen. She would have to get through me first.

I crept downstairs and to the back door. I peeked outside to see a lady out there. She looked absolutely terrible. Huge bags under her eyes. Thin, sparse hair. Pale. I could tell by the way she was acting that she was drunk. When the lady saw me, she started beating on the door.

"I see you in there! Come on out!" She slurred.

I burst through the door. "Look, I don't know who you are, or why you're here, but you need to leave."

"I'm here for the worthless whore you call your girlfriend."

"DONT TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT!" I was raging. I can't believe Daire had to deal with this.

Daire's mum brushed past me and waltzed into my house. She stumbled to the stairs and began trudging up there, and I ran inside after her.

I won't let her have Daire.

Idk. This just seems like a not as exciting chapter.But OMG Daire's mum is making a comeback. And I have important news for you all. I am ending Rejected soon.
