Daire's POV

When I open my eyes, I'm nearly blinded by the bright lights. Soon enough, I see where I'm at. I look down at my body and see bandages everywhere. I tried to get up and walk around, but then the nurse saw and stopped me.

"Woah, hey, where are you going? You can't leave, sorry", she said, laughing slightly. I read her name tag, it said her name was Diana.

"How long was I out?" I asked.

"Only a few hours. You lost a lot of blood, and almost didn't make it. Luckily, we got you bandaged up pretty quickly, and saved you." said Diana.

'Maybe it would've been better if you didn't' I thought to myself. 'Now once I get out of here, I just have to go back home, and face Steven.'

"Oh" was all I said.

Then another nurse came in to check on me. Her name tag read Jay Tomlinson.

Jay Tomlinson? As in mother of Louis Tomlinson? Whaaattt?

"Hello! I'm Jay! And you'll be living with me now!" She said.

"Why, what...wait. Why am I living with you now?" Did they know about Steven?

"Sweetie, we found out about your step dad. He came here shortly after you passed out, yelling at us and threatening us, but we wouldn't tell him where you were. We don't want you going back there, we want you to stay safe. So I'm going to be taking you in. My son Louis knows you, I believe." Jay said soothingly.

"Look, me and your son, we don't really..." I started to respond, but she cut me off.

"Oh it'll be fine!" She replied.

Ha, I wish. First of all, I have no idea what Steven will do if he finds out where I am, heck, I don't even know where he is! And second of all, what is going to happen while I live with my ultimate enemy, Louis freakin' Tomlinson?

After all of that, my stuff was packed up, and I was headed to Jay's.

When I walked in, Louis, Harry, Zayn, Niall, and Liam were already there. They all turned around to say hi to Mrs. Tomlinson, completely oblivious to my presence.

"Hey boys! So I have something to talk to you all about. As you all know, this is Ms. Daire Powers. She will be staying with us for a while, Louis." Jay explained.

Then they all turned to look at me, with shocked and confused expressions on their faces.

"Well hello to you too." I muttered, rolling my eyes.

Louis's POV

WHAT!?

This loser has to live with us!??

"Well hello to you too," she muttered, rolling her eyes.

Ugh, see, this is another reason why I hate her. Daire has such an attitude.

She looks kinda cute when she's frustrated. Okay, Lou, why are you thinking that?

"Um...Lou? Helloooo?"

I look to my right to see Liam waving his hand in my face, bringing me out of my confusing thoughts.

"Uh... yeah, hi Daire. Let's go lads. We have other things to do," I said rather quickly, dragging them upstairs to play some video games. This should be very, very interesting.

Daire's POV

It was getting late in the day, so after helping myself to some food in the fridge, Jay showed me to my room.

"This is the guest bedroom. My room is down the hall, to the right. If you need anything, let me know. Oh, by the way, you will meet Lou's sisters tomorrow. They are quite the wild bunch!" she said, chuckling to herself.

"Oh, okay. Um...thanks." Was all I could get out. So much has happened. Steven is gone, for now, I now live with Louis freaking Tomlinson, I nearly died. What next, Louis suddenly apologizes and becomes my best friend? Haha, yeah right, like that'll ever happen.

Well he is kinda cute...I mean, what? Did I really just think that? Come on Daire, he will always hate you, he would never like someone like you. (A/N: did anyone else think of Adele when you read someone like you? Or was it just me?)

I wasn't in the mood for dealing with people tonight, so I just went straight to bed, dreaming about what tomorrow will bring.
