The winter break is finially here!
I was suppose to update this last night but ended up fallin asleep at nine. Can't remember the last time I fell asleep that early.
This chapter won't be the most interesting one byfar, I actually wasn't planing for this chapter to come out like this.
Well, tell me what you think of it.
Aurora's POV
My waterproof sneakers slapped against the wet cement sidewalk as I continue to run. My wings were sour from the long flight so I decided to travel on feet instead. That was the worst mistake I had yet to make on this trip. Considering the fact that I couldn't usually run long distances.
"This is why you should let me out more often." Sky said, I could hear her shaking her head at me in disapproval.
I ignored her, I didn't have enough energy in me to come up with a witty remark. The rain was begining to disspate after four straight hours.
My stomach growled in complaint, I haven't ate anything since dinner last night. I didn't eat much supper either, I was stressed, eating makes me feel more stressed. I placed my hand on the stone wall beside me while my other hand held my forehead. My head was spinning, the things before me were whirling. I wobble a little on my feet, my palms began to generate sweat as I was unsure of what to do. I tried to shake myself out of it but it doesn't work. I was still dizzy.
The dark rainy clouds scattered, the sun peeked out between the rift in the clouds. Local dwellers are going to be out and about soon, I needed to move on, I couldn't stay here forever in this trance.
I took a step forward, only to be toppled backwards. My hand slidded off the stone wall. I could hear a few faint gasps and screams from a distance. I tug the stings of my hood urgently, maybe it could cushion my head, so wouldn't be as bloody.
Before any part of my body could make contact with the hard floor, I felt something on the small of my back. Too tired to care, I fluttered my eyes close.
A cold hand touched my damp cheek. "Hey, wake up, don't cause a scene here."
I groaned in irritation. I blink my eyes open, my eyelids felt heavier, the harsh sunlight blinded my vision as soon as I gained it. A hand helped me to my feet. A bizzare smell hit my nostrils. This person was definitely not human.
Rubbing my eyes, pieces of stray hair fell out of my braid and in front of my face. A cough quickly had me removing my hands from my eyes.
"Your not suppose to rub your eyes, you are going to lose eyelashes." The boy points out. A hands shoved inside his jean pocket while the other held a umbrella that was no longer needed. His appearance was similar to Harry Potter's. Although, he didn't have a scar on his forehead and he had bronze hair instead of black.
He extended his pocketed hand reflexively. I found myself staring at it, considering whether or not to shake it. Finially, I unfold my arm and reached out. As I shook his hand, I focused my attention on his grassy green eyes which oddly seemed off.
"I'm Gale, Gale Cifford."
I scrounched my nose. "That sounds like the name of a fish."
He chuckled, the edges of his emerald eyes wrinkled. "Like Gale from the Hunger Games."
A light blub went on on in my head as soon as he said that. "Oh, my bad. Nice meeting you, Gale."
I slipped my hand from his and continued to Draven's apartment complex. Behind me Gale snapped his umbrella shut and caught up to me. The sound of his footsteps made me walk faster. Sweat beaded my forhead, making my cheeks damp for a whole new reason.
"Wait up! You didn't tell me your name. What is it?" Gale protested, placing a hand on my shoulder to halt me in my tracks.
I brush his hand off, I had no time to waste. "That's for me to know and for you to find out."
I continue up the steep slope. I was tempted to pull off my hood the insides of it were getting moist from all the sweat I am generating. Feeling slightly lightheaded, I paused for a break, only to have Gale catch up to me yet again.
"Don't I deserve a proper thank you?" He inquired, his eyes no longer held the playfulness it once did.
I glared at him. Through gritted teeth I thanked him.
He smiled, hands on his hips. "Much better! Now, your name?"
I glowered at him, my lips pursed into the thinest of thin lines. "Look, I know you are some kind of supernatural and I know you know that I am a werewolf. Now can we move on and and pretend the last ten minutes of our lives never happened?"
He eyes litted up with excitment. "I'm a supernatural and you are a werewolf?"
I rubbed my temples, forcing a smile. "I have to go now, I will catch you later."
Not waiting for his response, I sprinted down the street as fast as I could. I wanted to unfurl my wings and soar through the sky but I couldn't not with the humans that are crowding the streets right now. Hence, I climbed up a tree in a nearby park and was about to take off when I heard his voice again.
"Get down here! You are going to fall!" Gale called, waving his hands wildly in the air.
I'm never getting to Draven's house if he keeps following me but if I fly he's going to cause a big rackus and attract attention. I swing my knapsack around, desperatly digging around for something useful. My fingers came across a silky material. Pulling it out, I realised that it was the invisablity cloak.
I smirked to myself and pull the cloak over me.
All this typing is making me hungry. who wants to make breakfast for me??
Soo, i was thinking, that since there is 6 more days till Christmas, I will update everyday. Like OUAP and this, rotating everyday what do u guys think?
I might get lazy so dont blame me if I forget to update.
Thats it for now
