This chapter is a little light..cuz well the past chapters weren't exactly cheerful.
Written in THIRD PERSON.
Conrad looked from the snowball he was making up to the gray sky. He swore someone had just called his name. Someone familiar.
Just then several pink rose petals fell from the sky and onto his face. The petals smelled like his mate, Rose, whom according to her friends was visiting her parents with her sister, Selena.
When Conrad had probbed them for more information they simply pretended to be oblivious to his presence.
"I used to think our life was boring," said Blake scratching himself again, something he does quite frequently nowdays. "But now, it has gotten a whole lot more boring. Especially when the human I am paired with can't get information on his mate."
Conrad had enough of these asinine conversations with his wolf. It's been going on for the past five months and it was getting irksome. He looked down upon the fallen petals around him.
The scent greatly resemblemed Rose's.
"Evie is here," Blake notified. "Alone, prefect time to ask her about Rose."
"Alpha!"
Conrad turned his head at just the right time for a icy snowball to hit him right in the face. He wiped his amber eyes clear before aiming his snowball at Lloyd, his Gemma who kept bugging him to find them a Luna.
Its not my problem she's on vacation right now. Thought Conrad, moving his arm over his head and flung the snowball at Lloyd aggressively.
This snow fight countined until Cresenta Moonfall pack's beta, Harris came out and obstructed them from playing on. He pointed an accusing finger at Lloyd for being an irresponsible Third.
"Just because you found you mate doesn't mean you have to be mature all the time." Lloyd huffed objectively forming another snowball with his gloved hands.
Harris narrowed his eyes at Lloyd's hands and retorted. "Just because you haven't found your mate yet doesnt mean its not time for you to grow up."
"At least my mate isn't saige the page who lived in a cage and never got laided!" Lloyd swung his snowball at Harris who shunned it just by a few centimeters.
Conrad chuckled. "I think her name is Paige, Lloyd."
"Potato patato," Lloyd said waving Conrad off.
Harris was scrouching his face to come up with a witty comeback. "At least I am not single like a pringle and can make burritos!"
"You burnt my kitchen down twice, hypocrite." Conrad stated, stifling a laugh.
Lloyd chortled holding his stomach for support. "Trying to fry an egg!"
Harris flushed a scarlet red. "Shut up! Lloyd you are needed inside some chick claimed that shes your mate, again!"
Lloyd mock flipped his hair, shook his head and batted his golden lashes at Conrad. "The duties that come with having the body of a greek god."
Conrad watched them walk away exchanging insults but it wasn't long before he started walking too. The satisfing sound of snow crunching under his snowboots echoed as he headed towards the Academy's campus.
