I've been screaming into a pillow for several minutes now, I'm home alone so it's not like I'm being judged. I've never screwed up so bad. Not only did I hang up on Calum Hood, but I didn't even realize I was talking to him in the first place.

I roll over, staring up into the ceiling. I'm still in disbelief. I slowly sit up, my large Bernese Mountain dog jumping up beside me on the couch.

Not only have I completely embarrassed myself but I'm not even mad. Nor am I upset. I'm not even happy. I'm just...here.

My phone begins to buzz suddenly as I reach over to pick it up, Calum's number flashing across the screen. My eyes widen and I hesitate before answering and putting the phone against my ear.

"Cori? You actually answered?!" he practically shrieks into my ear.

"I can't believe you!" I suddenly yell, words beginning to tumble. "Do you know the things I've told you?! Not only that, but I've ranted...about you! To you! Do you see my problem?! I've literally told you so much and I didn't even know what I was doing! I can't believe you!"

"I deserved that," Calum replies after a moment of silence. I rest my head back against the couch, mentally exhausted. "Look, I created that Twitter account to see what the fans were up to. I found you and wanted to talk to you. Is that a crime?"

I gasp loudly, "In my book!"

"Cor, come on. I didn't mean any harm, I just wanted to talk to you and I knew you'd act different if I told you who I was,"

I can't help but know he's right. If he told me who he really was, I wouldn't have said half the stuff I did. I wouldn't have embarrassed myself either, but that's another story.

I sigh, not saying a word. What can I say? Is there anything to say?

"I have to go, work to do. I'll call back later,"

I bite my lip. "Bye Calum," I breathe or as I hang up the phone and lay back down. This has to be a dream.
