Breathe
Chapter 7
I’m totally kidding! Alex didn’t die. But she came very close when she almost choked on her sausage patty. Harry was so concerned when she started coughing. He ran up to the counter and got her a water. Ever though she had an orange juice sitting right in front of her. Thankfully she was ok. But I knew deep inside that she was dead from the fact that Harry Styles was in her presence.
“You alright love?” Harry asked Alex as she set the glass of water on the table and tried to catch her breath. She nodded. Either because she was still getting over the sausage patty or that she just didn’t have the mind power to produce words to say to Harry. “Good!” he smiled at her and sat back in his chair and folded his massive hands and tucked them in between his legs. “So what’s your name again?” he asked her waiting patiently for her to answer.
“Alexandria. But you can call me Alex.” she smiled shyly. Trying not to let her screams escape from her mouth.
“Alux.” Harry repeated with a smile. At this point I could see that she was fighting back the urge to jump on him. Just by the way he said her name with a “u” instead of the “e”. She loved his accent and made fun of it all the time, in a good way.
“Mhm.” she replied pressing her lips tight against each other holding back everything she had.
Harry then faced me and his smiled changed to a smirk as his eyes flickered over to Liam. I could see Liam tense up in his chair as he stared Harry down and raising an eyebrow sternly. He looked back at me and asked for my name. I told him my name and again hearing my name in their accent was making me melt!
“Well it’s very nice to meet you Alux and Paisley.” Harry said giving Liam a wink after he said my name.
Now I’m not stupid! I knew by these signs that something must have been said about me. Like maybe Liam told him that we met in the gym this morning. I mean that must have been it really. But I defiantly knew that my name had flown off of Liam’s lips and into some ears. But I didn’t know if he just told Harry. Maybe he told the other boys. But I wonder what all he said about me.
“Nice to meet you too.” Alex answered back to Harry finally being able to speak normally. I nodded and smiled in agreement.
“Well Harry we should let them finish their breakfast.” Liam chimed in and giving Harry a little head nod over his shoulder cueing him that he needed to leave.
“Oh come on Liam!” Harry whined. “I wanna get to know these lovely ladies.”
“Yea Liam It’s fine you don’t have to leave.” I said smiling up at him as he started to stand up to leave. “Sit! We don’t mind.” I said looking to Alex and she smile and nodded.
“Are you sure?” Liam asked sweetly.
“I’m positive.” I smiled back as he sat back down and scooted his chair in closer to the table.
We sat at the table and talked for what seemed for like ever! I didn’t even finish my breakfast I was just enjoying my time talking to Harry and Liam and just getting to know them. And I don’t mean like what we read about in magazines and stuff. Real stuff.
Eventually Harry and Alex started talk to each other more than all four of us. So Liam and I started our own conversation. We talked about some random things. And we talked about each other. Liam asking more questions about me since I knew him pretty well. I told him about my jobs and my hobbies. I was expecting him to be set back when he found out how old I was. But he just smiled.
“No way you’re 23!” Liam argued back
“I’m serious!” I said laughing.
“You don’t…” Liam began to say before I stopped him
“Act like it… Yea I know.” I chuckled
“Look like it.” he finished. “And what’s wrong about not acting your age?” he asked. I just shrugged. I really didn’t know. I mean I knew I was a kid at heart. But I knew that I would have to grow up sooner or later. And I guess I was just holding on to being childish for as long as I could. Not having a worry in the world. “I think its brilliant that you can let go and be a kid at heart.” Liam smiled and leaned in close to me as I lifted my head and my eyes immediately found his beautiful bark brown chocolate eyes.
“Really?” I asked not losing eye contact with him. I could feel my cheeks getting warm and my heart racing through my body. Seeming to travel through my veins giving me chills everywhere.
“Really.” Liam smiled. A sweet smile. This smile was warming and electric. Not one of his smiled where he shows his pearly white teeth. More along the lines of a smirk. But instead of just one corner of his mouth being turned up. They both found their way to his little dimples. His eyes grew fonder and it seemed as if fireworks were about to shoot out because the way the light in the hotel were hitting them just right.
“Well then you’ll get to know the real me cause I’m always a kid at heart.” I said smirking. UGH why did I just ruin the moment? We would have sat there and just stared at each other with out a care in the world. But my stupid self had to open my mouth.
“I’m honored.” I heard escape Liam’s mouth bring me back to earth. “Should we go cause some mischief?” Liam chuckled and raised his bushy yet adorable eyebrows up and down.
I smiled evilly. “Lets!”
