Three years later
We stood in the shadows watching for anything out of the ordinary. Nothing. Nothing at all. They are up to something. I know they are. They have to be. Getting fed up with the silence I jumped from the tree. "I'm going to the highschool, watch over the place." After hearing a faint okay I made my way towards the place that teenagers call, hell. Wimps.
Time to find out what the latest gossip is during lunch shall we? Oh yes, we shall. We shall indeed.
Oh look, its the beta. What does he know?
"Hey what's the need for protectors anyway? From what it seems is they're weak cowards who can't show their face! And why do they get to do what they want! Why can't we just order them to do our bidding?" Oh no you don't. And then the future alpha decided to speak up. "You probably wouldn't even stand a chance against one of them." Damn right you are. "I bet I could talk one right now! Yeah you heard me!" He said waving his arms around.
You are not getting away with this! You know what? Let's see how he likes this. I'm just going to load my arrow into my bow. And knock some fear into him! "See! They're nothing but cowar-" He was cut off by an arrow going through his shirt trapping him to the wall. Whoopsie! As soon as the realization of who was there hit him , all the color drained from his face. Even better! "Damn my stupid mouth! Why! This was my favorite shirt!" He whined. "Dude, Mason you better apologize." "But-" And I'll just make my message way clearer. He jumped as another arrow pierced his shirt, leaving it worse off then it was in the beginning. "All right all right! I'm sorry! Now please leave my shirt alone. I giggled, wait, giggled? I have to look into that later. Quickly, I shifted into a crow. Speeding to get my arrows. Once again mason jumped as I flew in and grabbed my arrows, but not before winking at him. "Jason, did you just see that crow wink at me?" So Jason was his name. Hmm, I like it. Why, I don't know. "Nah man, you're just crazy." All Mason did was slink to the ground and pout. Remember my earlier statement about kids in his school being wimps? Yeah I take that back. Nothing but a bunch of babies.
Then I felt it. He was here. The scars. The marks. The rogue.
The hybrid.
