Chapter 24

I opened my eyes, light was shining from the window.
'What happened in the last night and when did I sleep?' I asked myself then I looked at the tv and realized that it was still on.
Did I really sleep and leave that television?! My mother used to shout to me when I do this habit.

I tried to imagine her face if she knew that I still do this.

I chuckled at the idea then went to get ready.
Few days remained and I will leave, I should go and visit my parents in those days, I won't be able to see them when I go there.

I sighed then went to have a shower. The hot water rushed over my body which made me feel slightly comfortable.

I wore a purple sweatshirt and blue jeans, combed my hair and wore my purple vans then left for breakfast.

I didn't want to meet anybody but I didn't have a choice.

I entered the great hall, everybody was busy talking and eating.
I sat on a far table hoping that I won't meet anybody I know.

"Candice, won't you talk to me?" Said a voice I didn't hear much those days.

What shall I do? Shall I leave him or talk?

"Of course I will but I think I should go now" I panted.
"Excellent choice, you are avoiding me from long time and I think that this is enough" he said raising his voice in his last words.
"I-I wasn't avoiding you" I hesitated.
"Yeah you aren't" he said sarcastically.

I tried my best to not meet his eyes.

"Why are you doing this? It was all because of Victoria and you know it" he said loudly, his face was bright red.

"I know it wasn't your fault but I am busy now, we can talk later" I said quickly then moved from my place hoping he won't follow me.

I tried running fast but I heared his heals clicking faster.

"Wait here" he shouted but I ignored.

Finally he got me. He grabbed my hands harder than ever.

"What do you want!" I said.
"I wan't you to fucking stand and talk with me" he said angrily.
"And I don't want" I said coldly.
"What do you mean by you don't want? What if I was the one who meant to do it with Victoria! What will you do in that moment? Runaway like a small coward girl?! Huh? Answer me. And you know what? I enjoyed it with her" he raised his voice louder than ever and his face was now scarlet.

His words were so harsh. I felt as if he slapped me. I felt my cheeks heat and I was on the verge of tears.

"You know what, I enjoyed that kiss I kissed Louis and it was better than yours and what if I was the one who began that kiss?!" I fired back feeling angry.
"Kiss him as you like. I don't care, take him as your boyfriend. I can take Victoria as my girlfriend" he said in a not caring tone.
A feeling of hatred toward him rushed over me. How dare he can say that?! Did he really mean it? Does he really like her?

I couldn't do anything but slapped him. I used all my force and hate against him that his cheeks were so red then I left quickly trying to blink the tears that were going to fall.

I went to my dorm and slammed the door.
The cat ran quickly under the bed from fear but I couldn't help with it.

I threw myself over the bed sobbing over my pillow.

How can he say that?!

Hours seemed to pass quickly, the sunset began. No more tears were left in my eyes. What have I done to this life?

The door knocked. I went to open it hoping that it won't be him.

I opened the door. I was relieved that it wasn't Harry, it was Melissa.

"Hey there Candice, sorry for bothering you" she smiled quietly.
"No problem, it's nice to see you" I tried to smiled but failed to do it.
"Umm well....I heared your voices, you and Harry while fighting in this morning, I didn't mean to eavesdrop. It was a coincidence. So umm...well I came to make you feel a bit better" she said.
"Thank you Mellissa that's so nice from you" I said.
"And few days you will leave, I will really miss you Candice" she said hugging me.
"Me too" I said shortly.
"So, get ready we will go out to the city. This may make you feel better because I know that you love shopping" she said in a cheerful tone.
"Ok, come have a seat till I get ready" I smiled then let her enter.

Shopping with Mellissa may make me feel better, she is a good friend.

"And don't forget to dress nice because we will go to your parents too, the adminstraitor recieved a letter from them asking about you because they were calling you but you didn't answer, they were so worried" she said.
"Really?! Oh my god how I didn't hear that phone" I said moving my hand over my hair.
"Don't worry, the adminstraitor told her that you are fine" she said trying to comfort me.
"Ok, I will go get ready then" I said then hurried toward the bathroom to get ready.

I wore a knee length white dress, curled my hair, wore high heals, applied some make up, then left the bathroom.

"Candice you look beautiful" Melissa stared at me.
"Thanks Melissa" I smiled.
"Are you ready?" She asked.
"Yes I am" I said the took my white bag and left with her the dorm.

We went to her car, it was white BMW and it looked so nice.

We rode the car and she began to drive.
"Where are we going?" I asked her.
"We are going to the city first so we can buy a nice gift for you parents"
"Ok" I said.

She inserted the usb of her mp3 player into the car and choosed one of my favorite songs.

"Oh my god I like this song" I said.
"You like Panic At The Disco?!" She said.
"Yeah I adore them" I said.

As the song began I began singing with it trying to forget about what happened earlier today.

We arrived after 45 minutes to the city, it was crowded by cars everywhere. I didn't go to the city for so long...

We entered a mall which I liked going to in my childhood.

"First we are going to have lunch" Melissa said.
"Ok" I said.

We went to Pizza Hut and ordered pizza.

"I am going to make you enjoy today, I will really miss you Candice, we must see each other soon ofcourse" she smiled.
"Ofcourse we will honey" I smiled.

My love for melissa began to increase, she is so sweat and kind unlike Victoria...

Our order came and we ate.
The Pizza was delicious. It was my favorite food.

My phone began to ring while I was eating, I looked at the screen, it was Harry. I hit the ignore button the turned my mobile off, I don't want to destroy the rest of the day...

We finished our lunch and decided to go buy a gift for my parents.

I tried thinking of what I will buy for them but I had no idea.

"What about buying them some chocolates?" Melissa suggested.
"Ok" I said.

We bought a large box of chocolates then pulled out to their home.

I gave Melissa the adress then she drived there.

"What are your plans for the days you will stay here before you leave?" Melissa asked.
"I don't know yet" I said honestly.

The rest of the drive fell silent until we arrived.

I looked at the old house. It was the same with no change.

I knocked on the old door.
"Who's there" my mother's voice said.
"It's me Candice" I said.
The door opened, my mother kept staring at me.
"Candice my love" she ran and gave me a long hug....
