Next week was your school's exam week, everyone was cramming in all the information they could before a week of torturous tests. You were currently studying at your home, which you shared, with your boyfriend Niall.
Throughout your schooling, Niall has been very supportive and even helpful by helping you study from time to time.
"Hey babe, I'm home." Niall said as he walked through the door. He was immediately greeted with books and folders scattered all over the living room floor. He threw his stuff on the ground and walked over to you.
"What the heck is all of this Y/N?!" He yelled "The house was clean when I left but you came home and destroyed it. I can't believe it! You would think you would clean up after yourself, but no! I have to do it all by myself, just like everything else."
You just sat there taking it all in. Did he not know it was your last week to study for exams? What happened? Did something happen at the studio? During your thinking, you started to cry and try to explain to Niall.
"N-no. Ni it's my last week to study. I'm really sorry for the mess, maybe I'll go study at the coffee shop or something." You sobbed while cleaning up your things. Niall just sat on the couch with his head in his hands. When you were walking out he grabbed your hand.
"No babe, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lash out on you. It's just been a bad day at the studio and I took it out on you. You can study here, I totally forgot you have exams next week." Niall said while pulling his muscly arms around your waist.
"Oh honey, I'm sorry about your day. You can always talk to me, just please don't lash out at me like that again." You say while gently stroking the hairs on the back of his neck.
"Deal, babe." He said. "How about you finish studying for the night and I can order some takeout and we can have a movie night tonight? I think we both need it." You nodded your head in agreement and went your separate ways.
A couple of hours later, you and Niall met up at your couch with a box of fried rice in your hands and a movie playing on your tv screen. Although everything seemed perfect, you could feel your stomach twisting due to the stress of exams.
You woke up the next morning with an even bigger knot in your stomach. You skipped out on breakfast to get a head start on studying.
Over the next few days you started eating less and studying more due to the pain of nervousness in your stomach. Niall was quick to notice but you assured him that it would only be until after your exams. When you went to take your exams, you were pleasantly surprised to see that all the studying paid off. A couple of days later you got your scores back and you saw that you passed them all with flying colors! You quickly ran home to tell Niall.
"Niall, I passed all of my exams!" You exclaimed. Niall came running into the living room to give you a big hug and kiss as a reward for doing so well on your exams.
"That's great babe! I'm so proud of you Y/N. In celebration of this, I want to take you out to dinner." He said. And he did, you two went out for a very nice dinner because you earned it.
