Your tossing in bed, feeling hot and sweaty. Your having a nightmare and your terrified. When you finally wake up your breathing heavy and shaking. Tears start to slowly roll down your cheek you sniffling. You silently roll over to reach for your phone on your nightstand.
Scrolling through the contacts your find the number you are looking for and call. The phone rings a few times until it's picked up, "Hello?" a sleepy deep voice calls.
"Ni?" You still sniffling from your nightmare.
"Prinxess? What's wrong? Are you okay?" the over protectiveness side of Niall comes out.
"I - I'm scared." you croak out, "I had a nightmare, some guy came and kidnapped you and I never saw you again. I just stood there not even trying to help. I-I c - can't believe I just stood there and let them t-take you. I - I'm s-sorry."
"Shh, it's okay princess. I'm okay, I'm not leaving. I'm right here. Nothing like that will ever happen. I promise" you nod your head even though he can't see you.
"I - I'm sorry to wake you up. I was just really scared and you were the first per-"
"Your fine. You can call me for anything baby."
"I g - guess I'll let you go back to sleep. I love your Ni."
"I love you princess. Remember I'm here and here to stay. Just don't think about it okay?" the line goes silent.
You put your phone back on the nightstand and roll back onto your side, pulling the blankets over you. You lay there for a few minutes trying to fall asleep, but you cant. You just stay laying in the dark looking at the wall. You yet again, go to grab your phone deciding to text Niall this time,
You-
Babe? I still can't sleep. I'm sorry I keep bothering you.
Niall-
I told you, your not bothering me baby girl, never.
You know what? I'm going to McDonalds and getting your favorite then I'm coming to your house♡
You-
Thank you Ni, you really don't have to do this.
Niall-
I'm doing this because I want to, nor because I have to. I love you and I'll be there soon♡

About half an hour later you and Niall have finished eating and are now currently laying in your bed. Your legs tangled together, Niall spooning you and putting his chin on top of your head as one hand runs through your hair and the other wrapped around your waste.
"Your safe, baby girl. I have you and I'm not leaving." Niall says breaking the peaceful silence.
"Sing to me?" You ask only wanting to hear his voice.
Niall nods his head and puts his lips to your ears not in any sexual way, an affectionate way. He starts singing 'Little Things' to you. Towards the end of the song you feel your eyes get heavy and your body loosen. The last thing you hear before dozing off into a peaceful sleep being "Sweet dreams, princess."
