This was the second time this week that Niall bailed on you, and you were sick of it. Niall was never usually like this, if he was running late he would always call you with an explanation and a package of flowers would be sitting on your dining room table the next morning.
Now Niall was always coming home late, and skipping by you on the couch to go to bed. You thought he was cheating on you, but you quickly brushed that thought away. Niall would never cheat on you. He loves you too much, right?
Tonight, you were curled up in your pajamas watching a movie on your couch. Even though your dog, Rosie, was right beside you, you still felt so alone. Niall was becoming distant and you didn't know what to do.
As soon as the door opened you shot up out of the couch to greet Niall at the door.
"Hey Ni, how was your night?" You asked while trying to give him a hug. He responded with a grunt and moved out of your path. To say you felt hurt was an understatement.
"Aracely, where is dinner?"He yelled. You couldn't believe he was acting like this. He blew you off twice this week and now he's asking for dinner.
"I thought you ate while you were out." You scoffed. Niall quickly turned around and crossed his arms over his chest.
"What is that supposed to mean?" He questioned.
"It means that you've blown me off twice this week and I already ate dinner." You said with a smirk. He knew he was caught red handed. His cheeks got red and he put his hands behind his back.
"Aracely, I know you're mad but I ha-" He tried to explain but you cut him off.
"Yeah, I am mad! You're always too busy for me now. You know what? If it's easier I'll just leave. I don't think you'd notice because you're always gone anyways." You yelled and then stormed to your shared bedroom upstairs and locked the door.
Seconds later you heard Niall knocking on the door, begging for you to open it so he could explain. You decided to keep it locked for the rest of the night. You needed to sleep before you could make any more decisions.

The next morning you woke up with a headache from crying. You opened your bedroom door to find Niall sleeping on the floor in front of your room. As you watched him sleep, you realized how much you love him and how nothing will ever change that.
Niall stirred in his sleep until he made eye contact with you. He quickly shot up and gave you the biggest hug he could.
"Baby, I am so sorry. I've been planning something big for our two year anniversary and I didn't want you to find out. That's why I've been so distant, and I know that's not the proper way to handle a situation like this but that's what I did. And I can't have you leaving, it would tear me apart, princess." He said with tears rolling down his face.
You kissed every tear away and promised him that you would never leave.
