Story 20: The Dark Rift

Miguel's team and Angel's team both encountered a god and was both attack, Torrez, the god of Destruction and Agony, the god of chaos. They've managed to survived, so now they're on their way to the dark rift to see the creator of nora's linken sphere.

Miguel and his team reached the Dark rift, the Dark rift is on a top of a mountain, Clouds surrounding it. The Dark rift has many portals around it, each portal is a doorway to another realm. "So...This is the Dark rift.. so which Portal is it??" Asked Khim. Kageyama looked around and took a deep breath. "That's gonna be tough.." said Kageyama. "I agree with Kageyama.." said Miguel. Raymart then scratch the back of his head and sighed. "So where here for nothing??" Said Raymart. "No.. We'll just need to see which portal is the way to the underworld then We'll continue the mission.." said Kageyama. Miguel crossed his arms then looked around the thousand of portals around them. "One way trip to the Underworld.... Tsk! How will we get the information back to the guild!?" Miguel asked himself in his thoughts.

Meanwhile on the land of the nagas, Angel and her team was shock because the half of the city is destroyed. "Wh-what happened here??" Asked Angel. Lorgie gulped and smiled a bit. "I don't recall we did this..." said lorgie looking at angel. "No we didn't.. " said Angel. Jad walked to them and sighed. "Let's just get to the rift.." said Jad then he looked around for any Route to go to the other side of the City. "Let's go..." said Angel equipping her platinum armor then she flew to the otherside. Lorgie turned magno into a griffin. "You coming??" Asked Lorgie to Jad and Adrian. The two guys rode The griffin as well as Lorgie then they flew off behind Angel. Ella then summoned a gargoyle and ride it. "See you guys on the other side!" Said ella to louie and Artemis. Louie equipped Angel's platinum armor then looked at Ardnaxela. "Hey... you coming or what??" He asked. Ardnaxela looked down then to him. "You do realize that i can't fly.." said Ardnaxela. Louie sighed then scratch the back of his head. "Then I'll carry you.." said Louie walking to the archer. Artemis blushed a bit then took a step back as the mime walked towards her. "W-what?" She said. "I'll carry you.." replied louie as he carry artemis with his arms. Artemis blushed as she gets carried by the mime then he flew to the city. Ardnaxela looked at Louie then she felt her heartbeat beating faster. "What is this feeling?!? I'm feeling my heartbeat getting faster... " she said in her mind as they flew around the sky.

"Should i tell him.....what i feel about him??"

Back on the dark rift, Miguel and his team are still having a hard time choosing which portal to go. "So....Have you decided which portal to go??" Asked Kageyama. Khimberlyn sighed. "I do, but... i don't think it's the right one.." said Khim. "Me either.." said Raymart. Miguel took a deep breath again crossing his arms and glaring at each portal around them. "One wrong step and this mission will be a failure.. " said Miguel in his thoughts.

Back on Angel's team, they've managed to crossed the devastated city of the Nagas and they've finally reached the Mountain of the dark rift. "Come on! The dark rift is just above us!" Yelled angel as she flew towards the top of the mountain with her team. "Alright!" Said Jad.

Miguel then heard the sound of a griffin he looked around the sky then he was surprised that a griffin suddenly appeared and landed on the top of the mountain with them. "Miguel??" Lorgie asked as she got down from magno, Jad and Adrian as well. "You guys??" Asked Raymart. Then suddenly Angel and the other rest of her team arrived and landed on the dark rift. "Angel!? What are you doing here!? Where is Ray!?" Miguel then pointed his sword to the Gladiator. Angel gasped and did the same. "Look... We're sent here, Ray's in the guild.. We're on the same team now.. Don't do anything irresponsible, Miguel.." said Angel, their team gasped and looked at the Knight and Gladiator. "When i Saved you from the god back then, i always expected that you'll do something like this... Standing on your own and don't remember that you owe me.." said Miguel glaring at angel. Angel then clenched her fist and glared also at Miguel. "I like to stay and Fight you and all.. But we're on a mission.." said Angel. "Us as well..." said Raymart. Miguel then grip his sword tight. "That's right, We don't have time to fight... our mission comes first before anything else.." said Miguel. Artemis then spoke. "Let me guess... finding the Creator of this??" Ardnaxela then took out the linken sphere from her pack that's on her waist. Miguel gasped a bit then looked at angel. "Don't tell me you're here too for that??" Miguel asked the gladiator. Angel nodded in agreement. "So that's why we need to work together.." said Angel. Miguel looked at Angel's team then sighed and put away his sword. "We work together.... but I'm not putting my trust on you now.." said Miguel to Angel. The Gladiator just looked at miguel then she put away her sword.
"That's fine by me..." she replied. Kageyama clear his throat. "So...Which way is the underworld?? " kageyama asked. Angel walked to them and looked at the Portals around them. "Let's see...Kiw-kiw told me it's the color Red.." said angel then she looked around for any portal that it's colored red. "There!" Said Ella pointing to a portal. Everyone of them saw it to then walked towards it. "So who will go first??" Asked Louie looking at the portal. Raymart then smirked and pushed louie to the portal. "You.." said Raymart. Louie gasped then got sucked in to the portal. Ardnaxela gasped then she clenched her fist and grabbed Raymart's collar. "Are you crazy!?!" Said Artemis a little angry. RAymart then looked at artemis. "Whoa! Hey! Hang on!" Said Raymart. Ardnaxela then let go of him then she Kicked raymart to the portal. "You're next.." she said. Kageyama sighed and followed raymart to the portal.
