Story 33: A Glimpse From The Past Part 3

Ezkatka has been destroyed because of the two gods who destroyed the land of Catnes, The god of destruction, Torrez...and The god of Chaos, Agony. They've managed to survive but didn't save most of the people of Catnes, However they maneged to know Nora's location and they're ready to bring an end to the age of the gods....

The first day of the Year X14, the Guild Ezkatka was now growing and Finally a large building on the center of Catnes, Thanks to juliet and her fellow guildmembers.

"Hey! Mae! We're leaving..." said Louie to the mage, Who is wearing a witch's hat, covering her face and her long brunette hair, she's wearing a leather robe and her name is mae,Mae's drinking some of her favorite coffee on the table, she looked at the mime and raise an eyebrow. "Where are we going??" Asked Mae. Louie sighed. "don't you remember?? We're off to go to kill a god Who's terrorizing a city.. " said Louie. Mae tilt her head. "Just us??" She asked. The mime nodded. "I'm sure the two of us can manage to defeat it.." said Louie. Mae stood up and walked to the second floor. "Let me pack my bag first.." she said. Louie sighed then crossed his arms and wait for the mage to come down.

Mae packs her things on her room then she got out and took a deep breath. "Miguel is still not around...that's why i need to come with this idiot right here.." she said to herself while walking down the stairs carrying her pack. Louie smiled. "Great, Let's go.." he said. They've both ride their horses and rushes off to the place where the god of iron is terrorizing the land of the rock goblins that's on the outskirts of the land of catnes near the temple of Olympus that's on a far far away land. "Louie! You didn't told me.. where are we going??! " asked Mae. "To the land of the rock goblins!" Said Louie to the mage. "Tsk! Rock goblins.. bot only it's a far away land but they're perverted goblins and have no manners...can we really defeat a god with just the two of us?! Well....I'm almost at the high class...sure i can defeat it alone...but Louie is still on low-class...and that will be a real pain in the ass.." she said in her mind while looking at louie. Louie looked back and saw her looking at him. "Huh?" Louie said curiously. Mae gasped then quickly looked away blushing a bit. Louie raise an eyebrow then looked forward to the road. Mae took a glance to the mime again. "I hope he doesn't get funny ideas about that.."she said to her mind.

The Day passed and they have to be force to camp outside in the forest. louie smiled and got off from his horse. "Alright, We'll camp here!" He said looking at the pond and the trees around them. Mae got down from her horse as well and looked around. "Are you sure we should camp here?? There might be wild animals wandering around.." she said. Louie looked at her. "Don't tell me...you're afraid of wild animals??" Louie said teasingly. Mae frowned, looking at the mime. "U-huh, that's why I'm scared of You.." she said then she put down her bag and set up her tent. Louie eyes widen. "Damn, that's what i forgot..." said Louie. Mae looked at him while kneeling down setting up her tent. "What??" She said. "My tent..." louie replied. Mae blinked and looked at him for awhile. "You sleep outside..." said Mae a little serious, louie jaw dropped then sighed. "Fine.." he said. "I'll make the campfire..." said Louie.

That night, Mae cooked their dinner, they haven't talk for an hour. They just feel each other's presence. Louie looked at the moon then he glance quickly at Mae, the mage looked at the mime then louie looked back to the moon. Mae frowned then continued to eat her dinner. "This is awkward as hell..." said Mae in her thoughts. Louie gaze upon the stars as he lay down on the ground. "Now those are beautiful stars..." said Louie. Mae looked up to the sky as well. "It sure are..." said Mae. Louie smiled. "You know...one day i wanna see a shooting star and wish for something good that will happen to my life..." said Louie. The mage heard what he said then she looked at the mime. "You haven't seen one yet do you??" She asked. Louie shakes his head. Mae sighed then stood up walking towards him. "You know.. that you don't need a star to wish for something good... all you need is to be optimistic!" Mae said with a smile to the mime. Louie blinked and smiled then began to chuckled. "Sure..I'll try that.." said Louoe shrugging his shoulders. Mae smiled then got inside her tent. Louie sat up and sighed, he put out the fire with some water on a puddle, he wiped his hands with his cape then lay down on the ground again. "Ummm...Louie" Mae said softly. Louie sat up and looked at the mage. "What??" He asked. "You can sleep inside if you want." She said smiling. Louie gasped a bit then blushed, he nodded and took his pack and went inside the tent.
