【Beyond Birthday X Reader】

'Screw it! I'm opening it,'

You slowly twisted the doorknob, opening the door slowly. You looked inside and gasped at the sight. You stepped away from the room, it had a TV in one corner and a small armchair. But that's not why you gasped. You had gasped at the wall on the opposite side, filled with knives of all sizes and any other weapon imaginable. You shut the door quickly, heading back to the bedroom. You sat down on the bed, feeling sick to your stomach. You were shocked by what was in that room and were scared. Rationally, you knew that Beyond had abducted you. But in your mind, he was still the Beyond you knew when you were children.

"Maybe a shower will help,"

You said, standing and heading into the ensuite of the bedroom. You removed your clothes, turning on the shower and getting under the warm water. You let the water run over you, trying desperately to let it wash away all of the paranoia and worry. You turned off the tap, stepping out of the shower, all your thoughts flooding back in. You dried off and slipped your clothes back on, since you only had one outfit and an oversized shirt that ︎Beyond gave you. You pulled your hair up into a ponytail, not bothering to dry it and stepped back into the bedroom.

"(F/N)! I'm back!"

You heard ︎Beyond yell. He walked into the room, dropping two shopping bags near the door before walking over to you. He pulled you into a hug and kissed you on the head.

"Where'd you go?"

You asked.

"I had to run some errands, then I stopped by the shop,"

"What errands?"

Your mind was racing; instantly assuming the worst.

"One of the bags is for you the other is some food."

︎Beyond said, changing the subject,

"I'm going to go put the food away. You can look through the bag,"

With that, ︎Beyond left the room, taking one of the bags with him. You sighed and sat down on the bed, the way ︎Beyond had avoided the question made you feel so much worse.  You thought about the room, wondering if you should tell him that you saw it or not. You decided to push your thoughts to the side and look through the bag. You walked over to it, picking it up and bringing it back over to the bed. You looked inside. Inside, there was three shirts, three pairs of shorts and a casual dress. You examined the clothing, smiling at Beyond's choices.

"You like them?"

You heard ︎Beyond ask. You looked up to see him leaning against the door frame. You nodded.

"Yes, Thank you."

"It's no problem. I figured that you could use some other clothes,"

he came and sat down on the bed with you.

"I hope they fit,"

"Yeah,"

You replied quietly. You still couldn't shake your thoughts of what he may have meant by 'errands'.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing,"

you said, smiling,

"don't worry,"

"If anything was wrong you'd tell me, right?"

"Of course,"

"Okay,"

He pulled you into his arms again.

"Is everything okay with you?"

You asked,

"What?"

"I'm asking you, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, what makes you think that it wouldn't be?"

"I don't know, you seem, kinda, I dunno, clingy?"

He stopped hugging you.

"Sorry..."

"No! There's nothing wrong with it, I was just asking if everything was okay,"

"Mhmm,"

he mumbled. You may not of seen ︎Beyond in years, but he was still your best friend, and you knew when something was wrong. You opened your mouth, then shut it, not knowing what to say. ︎Beyond stood up,

"Hungry? It's almost time for dinner"

"Um- yeah,"

you replied,

"Come on, I'll make you something."

︎Beyond made his way to the kitchen, you following behind him. You sat down at the table, turning your chair so that you could see ︎Beyond. He walked into the kitchen,

"What do you want for dinner?"

"Surprise me."

"Okay..."

︎Beyond said, looking as if he was thinking,

"okay!"

He repeated, more certain this time.

︎Beyond sat a plate of (favourite food) down in front of you.

"Is it still your favourite?"

He questioned. You laughed,

"Yeah, it is. I'm surprised you even remember that," 

He kissed your head before sitting down across from you and started eating as well.
