【Beyond Birthday X Reader】

Chapter 8

He kissed your head before sitting down across from you and started eating as well. A silence fell over the two of you as you ate.

"(F/N)?"

︎Beyond asked. You hummed in response.

"Are you sure everything's okay?"

"One-hundred percent! Everything is just as it should be!"

You replied, mentally slapping yourself. You could not have made it any more obvious. You smiled at ︎Beyond, hoping he would dismiss it as nothing. He eyed you curiously. He then sighed,

"Fine,"

He said. Not believing you, but deciding to drop the subject.

~(Beyond's P.O.V)~

"Are you sure everything's okay?"

"One-hundred percent! Everything is just as it should be!"

'Well that didn't make it obvious at all' I thought to myself sarcastically, there was definitely something wrong. She smiled at me, but it was a fake smile, I could see it. I wish she would just tell me what's wrong. I eyed her curiously, hoping that it would somehow convince her to tell me what's wrong. I sighed when I knew she wasn't talking to me.

"Fine,"

I said, deciding to drop the subject - for now. She stopped smiling and went back to eating. I kept my eyes on her, wondering what it was that was bothering her and why she wouldn't just tell me. My eyes then drifted above her head where it was written in red,

I only had a short amount of time with her left. Maybe I should tell her... but what if she freaks out? What if she doesn't believe me? No. I won't tell her, I've just got to make the best of my time left with her.

"(F/N)?"

She looked up at me,

"If there was anything you could do right now what would it be?"

She sent me a confused look,

"Umm... why?"

"I dunno, just asking,"

'Crap I made it too obvious,'

"Hmm..."

She hummed as she thought,

"I don't know,"

she answered. I just wanted to make sure that she at least did something she wanted to do before she died, I wanted to make sure she was happy. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small red box. I had gotten it earlier today for (F/N). I know it wouldn't be for long, but I love her. I took a deep breath, slipping the box back in my pocket. (F/N) finished her meal and stood up, taking her plate over to the kitchen sink. She cleaned it, dried it and sat it back with the other plates. She then started to walk out of the room,
"(F/N)," I said, standing up and walking over to her. She stopped and turned around. I stood in front of her and took a deep breath before kneeling down on one knee.

~<Your P.O.V>~

"(F/N),"

︎Beyond said, standing up and walking over to you. You stopped and turned around to look at ︎Beyond. He stood in front of you and took a deep breath before kneeling down on one knee. You down at him, then to the small box he pulled out of his pocket. He opened the box and held it out to you, inside was a silver ring with a diamond on it.

"(F/N),"

︎Beyond said looking up at you, a light shade of pink dusting his cheeks,

"Will you- umm- will you marry me?"

Your cheeks burned a deep red as you covered you mouth with your hands, you were very overwhelmed. You forgot about the room you had seen earlier and all your doubts. You felt tears of happiness prick the corners of your eyes, you let them fall, not bothering to hold them back. You removed you hands from your mouth, revealing your growing smile, and nodded,

"Yes!"

Beyond smiled as well, standing up and pulling you tight, pressing his lips against yours in a passionate kiss.
