Breather

You and Kellin were in front of the fireplace,on the couch,snuggled up together with a blanket around both of you. You and him were just staring at the fire.
"Kellin, may I ask something?" You said
"Yeah Heidi.whats wrong?" He said
"Do you love me?" You asked
"Of course,Heidi. Your my best friend" He said
"Oh,okay....." You said, your serious face turned to a sad one "I'm going to the bathroom"
"Okay...." Kellin said,he looked at Heidi,sad almost like he wanted to say something. You got into the bathroom and just sat there on the floor. You just needed a break to get some air. You loved Kellin, ever since you were kids. You were always there for him. Every girlfriend,every drunk party,every hangover,every sad break up,every happy moment. Always. You loved him but you needed to leave for a while from here. Everywhere you looked,memories of you and Kellin would pop in your head. He had just told you he loved you like a friend. You wanted a break from trying to figure out Kellin's feelings for you. You were going to tell Kellin tonight that you were leaving tomorrow,you wanted Kellin to at least say he loved you,more than a friend. Then maybe you would stay. You wiped some tears that had fallen and got out of the bathroom. As you opened the bathroom door,Kellin was standing there.
"I was just going to knock,are you okay?" He asked with concern written all over his face
"Kellin,I'm leaving tomorrow to Japan. It's only for 2 weeks." You said
"Why? Did I do something wrong?" He asked,on the boarder of tears.
"No,no,no,no,Kellin,I'm leaving because I just need a breather from my mental battles. I wanted to spend my last night here with you because I love you."you said. Kellin started to cry,he wrapped his arms around your shoulders.
"I- I-I-I- don't. I always thought you.....please don't stay in Japan too long"He said
"It's okay Kellin,if you want I'll only stay 1 week,you can hang out with your other friends. Right? " you said. At this point,Kellin had his face in your neck. You hugged Kellin by his stomach and let your head stay on Kellin's shoulder.
"Heidi...." He said
"Hhhmm?" You replied
"When you said you loved me,did you mean like a friend or a ......."he said
"No Kellin,I love you more than a friend. Ever since we were kids. That's why I'm leaving. I need to stop trying to keep trying to figure out your emotions for me. " you said
"Oh,okay..." He said. The rest of the night was spent just hugging one another. The next day,Kellin saw off Heidi. All her friends were there too,seeing her off at the airport. Kellin stood apart from everyone else. He was going to miss his best friend. You waved at everyone one last time. You meet Kellin gaze and yelled while running to your destination.
"I'LL SEE YOU IN A WEEK!!!" And before anyone of her friends could reply. They lost sight of her. Kellin said bye to all of Heidi's friends. He got on his car. He didn't know if loved Heidi or not. He knew one thing though,he couldn't live without her. As he was driving back home. He passed a middle school. He stopped in front of the building. Kellin parked his car and got out. This is the middle school he and Heidi went to as kids. He remembered that everyone thought that Kellin and Heidi were dating and would always ask. He loved the way that Heidi would sometimes say yes and see their reactions. Uhh it was going to be a long day.

As the week passed, Kellin was reminded of Heidi. Everywhere. Kellin now understood why Heidi left. Kellin misses her so much. She is all he can think about. Today,Kellin knew that he was going to tell Heidi that he loved her. He dressed in a tuxedo and a 25 red roses. Each for the years that she had hidden her love for him. From when they were infants to now. He arrived at the exit gate in the airport with roses in hand. Heidi came out with a crowd of people in front and behind her. She was smiling and pulling her luggage behind her,trying to find Kellin. When Heidi locked gazes with Kellin,she ran to him with her luggage right behind her. Kellin started to walk up to her with his arms open. She ran to him and jumped into his embrace,making him drop the roses. Kellin spun her around in the air a couple times and then stood her up. Kellin was so glad to see her face again. She smiled and said
"How are you Kellin? Why do you have those roses?"
Kellin picked up the flowers from the ground and then grabbed Heidi from her waist,pulling her towards him. Their lips collided. Heidi was shocked but after 5seconds,she kissed back willingly. The kiss felt so right and Kellin knew that after today,he wouldn't be able to live without Heidi's kisses. Heidi pulled away and Kellin instantly gave the roses to Heidi
"Each flower represents each year you hid your love for me a secret. I would like to repay you those 25 years with the rest of my life. " said Kellin
Heidi was crying and she grabbed Kellin by the tie of his tuxedo and gave him another kiss,yet this one was filled with the love of 25 years. Kellin and Heidi separated,
"Now,will you come to my home and stay with me. To make up for the 25 years of missing love"Kellin whispered in Heidi's ear with a seductive smile on his face.
"I will gladly " Heidi said with a smile
