He meets your parents pt 2

You and Kellin pulled up to the drive way of your parent's home. You were a little nervous because of how this all could play out, Kellin saw how nervous you were and gave your hand a firm, reassuring squeeze. You turned your head and looked Kellin in the eyes and gave him a wholeheartedly smile. You leaned in and gave Kellin a peck on his cheek, he smiled and rubbed affectionately on his cheek, where you had kissed his. You giggled and was about to open your car door when suddenly Kellin lets go of your hand and gets out of his seat and ran to your side of the door and opened the door for you. You smiled at Kellin, he loved to portray his love so you in any ways possible, this was one way. Kellin held his hand out to you for him to help you get out of your seat. You took his hand and gracefully got out, thanks to Kellin. After he helped you out, he went back to his side of the door and closed the opened door and locked the car, he went towards you and intertwined his fingers with yours as you both walked up to the front door. You raise your hand to knock on the door when right when you were about to knock, the door opens. You stood there with your fist in the air, about to knock on whoever's face just opened the door when Kellin grabs your hand before you do any damage and intertwines your fingers with his and says " hi Mr. ( Y/l/n), how have you been?"
You look at the person and are almost jump from the surprise of your dad opening the door for you and Kellin. Your dad just mumbles under his breath and walks away, leaving the door open so you and Kellin can come inside the house. Kellin gives you a reassuring smile and whispers to you
"Every thing is going to be okay, don't worry"
You smile at him and walk inside the house. Kellin follows right behind you and closes the door behind him. As you both stand in the entranceway, Kellin helps you take off your coat an hangs on the coat rack conveniently placed to the right of you both. He hangs your coat an then hangs his. You hear someone growl and walk away, you just assume it's your dad and sigh. Kellin notices and kisses your cheek and whispered
"it's going to be okay"
You smile as Kellin pulls back and smiles at you. You and Kellin hold hands and make your ways to the kitchen since that is where you saw your dad head off to. You and Kellin see your mom and dad preparing the finishing touches on the dinner. Kellin greets your mom with a hug and says
"It's nice to see you again Mrs. (Y/l/n)"
And your mom replies with a smile and says
"Nice to see you too Kellin. Call me 'mom'" Kellin's eyes widen at the comment but then smiles and nods his head. You look at your dad who has his mouth opened in shock but catches your glance and looks back at the food. Kellin notices and squeezes your hand reassuringly.

You were setting down plates and silverware on the dinner table since the food was ready. Kellin had gone to the bathroom to wash his hands and your mom was looking for a specific wine for this occasion at the store. You had set down the last plate and stepped back to see your handy work. You sighed then suddenly you see your dad is next to you and also staring at your work
"I'm really sorry (Y/n)...." He said without moving his gaze from the table.
"Dad, I know you want the best for me, and I will never stop loving you but I want you to understand that Kelin is the best for me. He loves me beyond belief and wants nothing more but to make me happy, just like you...." You said also not moving your gaze from the table. You slowly start to tear up, your dad notices and hugs you.  You break down in his arms and sniff his cologne and the smell of your wet shirt. You cried and your dad held your head and cooed in your ear. You calmed down and stepped back to look at your dad, he smiled at you and said
"I'll give Kellin another chance, if he makes you happy. Anything for you, but if he hurts you....."
You laugh and clean your eyes and hug your dad with all your might, without hurting him. He laughed and said
"Okay kiddo, go wash your hands. "
You giggle and you to the bathroom

Everyone was holding up their wine glass and cheered. Kellin played with your thumb as everyone drank the wine, you giggled and said
"Okay dad, I'm formally introducing you to my boyfriend. His name is Kellin. "
Kellin pulls out his hand to shake your dad's hand, your dad stares at it and then shakes it. Everyone smiles and sit down to eat dinner. You and kellin sit down next to each other. Kellin holds your hand under the table and smiles you and whispers "I love you, I hope I can make you happy..."
You whisper back to him " i love you more, I hope you and I can be happy together ....."
You and Kellin smile at each other and start to eat.

You both don't know what the future holds

But you both know that in the future, it's you two against the world....
