Why cant i stay home pt.3

I'm gonna do something
that I haven't done in a while.
For James's girlfriend I'm not going to put an actual name.
Its gonna be (j/g/f), okay?

₽R£VÏØÜŠŁŸ.....

You plopped yourself on your bed, completely emotional and physical exhausted. Then you heard your phone start ringing.....

you sat up and grabbed your phone an looked at the front o the screen. it had a picture of you and James hugging each other while rollerskating. and in big bold letters was James written.
you answered
"what's up James?"
then suddenly you hear someone crying hysterically.
"WHHHYYY??!!!?"
"what's wrong James?!?!" you said now being completely scared and terrified of what could possible be happening to him.
"SHE WAS CHEATING ON ME!!" he screamed out
"(j/g/f)?!?!" You asked "I'm coming over James!! DONT DO ANYTHING!!"
You quickly got off of your bed and grabbed a near by hoodie that was resting on top of a chair

-time skip to when you arrive to James's house-

You knocked on him door 5 times.
"JAMES!! OPEN UP!!" You yell
You hear shuffled footsteps coming to the door and unlock the door. You see a  James with red, teary, puffy eyes.
You immediately embrace him. You hug him with all your might and he does the same.

You usher James inside and close the door behind you.
(He lives by himself, sorry I didn't mention it before)

You sat down with James on top of his bed.
He began to explain what had happened after he had left you and went to talk to (j/g/f).
He said he knocked on her door and she opened it and told him to come in. She sat him down and told him straight up that she had been cheating on James since the first day they meet. There was never a moment that was ever genuine. It was all a lie. She told James now because she didn't want to go to prom with him but instead go with her NEW boyfriend.

The whole time James was talking, his  voice would break and tears would slowly move over his cheeks.
When he finished he hugged you and you him.
While he was still hugging you he said
"She tried to blame it on me, that I was never appealing to her or any girl. That I was never going to be able to get a girlfriend with who I was..."
You rubbed James's back
"I'm so sorry James that you had to go through with that. She doesn't deserve you. She was never going to love you like I knew you loved her."

You pulled away to wipe away any stray tears from his eyes. He smiled as you caressed his cheek.  He held on to your hand and caressed if with his thumb.
"Do you still want to go to prom? It's almost time. We don't have to if you don't want to. I'll stay with you no matter what. "
He smiled at your words.
"Yeah I want to go. I'm gonna go with the most beautiful girl I know. "
He smiled as did you.

~Time skip ~

"You almost ready (Y/n)?!" Asked James from downstairs. He was waiting for you to finish getting dressed.
"Almost just a few minutes...." You said
"Okay but if we get there when the party is already over, i swear....." James's mouth hung open as he saw you in your outfit. You started walking down the stairs and when you got to the bottom. You said
"Do you like it James?" You did a spin so James could see the whole thing.
His face had a wide smile.
"You are beautiful... I-I-I'm speechless"
You said
"You look so handsome James. You even have a bow tie on!!"
He came closer to you and grabbed your hand and put a different corsage then the one you had bought. 
"James this isn't mines..." You said really confused.
"I know. I want this night to be you and me. The corsage you bought was beautiful but I wanted you and me to match. The ones I bought for me and (j/g/f) I burned. So I bought these ones for us too. " he smiled at you
You grabbed the flower that James was to wear and you helped him pin it to his blazer. You then fixed his tie.
James smiled at you and you smile back at him.  He put out his hand and you grabbed it and you and James looked at one another and started to walk towards the front door.....
