"(Y/n), are you okay?" said (Y/n)'s older brother, Kellin as the car pulled up to the front of the building where (y/n) and him are going to spend four years of their lives in.
That's right, HIGH SCHOOL!!
Well, he's your step brother.
His mom married your dad, it was the typical "love at first sight" love story for them.
They dated for an entire year when they finally decided on tying the knot. They got married in the beginning of the summer in a beautiful church and they had their honeymoon in Italy. When your father and your step mother came back they began to figure out the living arrangements since they were now married and couldn't be living in two different houses. They decided that you and your father would go and live with your stepmother and her youngest kid who's name was Kellin. You assumed that the child was maybe 10 or 9 since when ever your stepmom would talk about him, she would say how silly and spontaneous he was. So when you finally met Kellin, you were quite surprised to find out that he was the same age as you and was going to start his first year of high school after the summer ended, just like you. You both were even going to the same high school!!
It's now been about two months now since you've moved in with your step mother and Kellin. You and Kellin care for one another so much and look out for each other. Almost as if you guys were actually blood related brother and sister.
Now currently your father has pulled up in front of you and kellin's new high school. Your terrified of the unknown that lies behind those front doors. Kellin asks you "(y/n) are you okay?"
You can't hear him as you look out the window and try to imagine what the 4 year will look like in this building. Kellin notices this and puts his hand in your open one. You turn from the window and see Kellin's reassuring smile.

"We can do this (y/n). I'll be here for you every step of the way. I won't let anything hurt you." said kellin still with a smile on his face
You smile at him and nod.
You both exit the car and watch as it drives farther and farther down the road. You and kellin are still holding hands.
Your still a little stared but you know that even if this becomes a hell hole or heaven, you'll still have Kelln by your side and that's all that matter.
