Anyways, this update is mainly going to be about season 3 and the trivia quiz, so here it goes. The first episode of season 3 is going to be called “The Empty Hearse” and will be loosely based on the Sherlock Holmes story “The Empty House” in which Holmes also comes back. The air date is still uncertain and the ones you may see floating around are only based on speculation. The second episode is going to be called “The Sign of Three.” Also, a female actress, Amanda Abbington, has been seen on set and will be playing Mary Morstan who, in the books, marries John. The three clue words, if you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know them, are “rat,” “wedding,” and “bow” (like to bow to the audience). Wedding could refer to John’s since it seems likely that that will happen this season. These words could also mean nothing and be designed to make us anxious or eager for “Sherlock” since Gattis said they “could be to get you up in a lather.”
