Chad's POV
I didn't mean to put Jasmine in this position. I didn't think this was going to happen. I know deep down this isn't what she want. Now, last but not least, I have to have this talk with my parents. It's six o'clock in the morning, so I know they both are up. My dad will be walking out the door in about 45 mins or so, and my mom at about 7:15. I really wasn't nervous about telling them or nothing, because whats's done is did.
"Goodmorning son," my dad greeted me as I walked in the kitchen."
"Hey pops."
"How are those scholarships looking?"
"Pretty good. I'm focusing more on Kentucky. Full ride doesn't sound too bad."
"What about Jasmine?" He didn't really have to bring up Jazz and basketball. Damn, that dragged me back to reality real quick.
"Mom, come downstairs for a second please," I yelled up to her. "But dad, you know she has one more year in high school. She has a good grip of colleges begging for her to sign, but she's being patient. She just may give ball up now though."
"And why would she do that? She's so thrill on the court." Just then, my mom walked down the steps, and I actually got a little nervous about telling them. "Well, mom....dad....Jasmine's pregnant, and she's keeping the baby." They both looked too shocked to talk, until my dad just flipped.
"This was your decision huh Chad? I know my son too well to blame Jasmine. She has a dream she's trying to fulfill too Chad. You can't make her put her dreams on hold to have your baby you're not going to be around to see about or take care of. You do know Kentucky isn't just down the street right? You can't tell me you're not making her have your baby because I know you too well, and I know Jasmine well enough too. Then Kylie. You haven't even graduated high school yet and already on number two. What did Jasmine's parents say about this?"
"Dad, Jasmine's mom is not letting her kill the child. No, Jasmine doesn't want a baby right now. No, I don't want Jasmine to have an abortion, and same goes for her mom."
"Well congradulations," my mom said smiling at me.
"Thanks mom," I hugged her.
"Well, since this is how it's going to be, congrads son. We see your soldiers march well," my dad chuckled.
"Thanks dad." With that, I walked up to my room and finished getting dressed for school. I didn't even think about Jasmine's dad reaction. That did kind of scare me.
I put on my red and black Nike shirt, some black Levis, my red and black Nikes that me and Jasmine have alike, and my red and black bulls snapback. Jasmine had actually bought me this outfit some weeks back.
As I headed over to Jazz's house, my mind kept focusing on how her dad would react. That's what I'm mostly nervous about. I got out and headed inside to find Jasmine almost dressed like me. Same shoes, shirt, and same color pants. She had her long hair up into a ponytail, and she looked amazing.
"Copy cat," she said hugging me.
"How are you?"
"Happiest person alive," she replied in a sarcastic tone.
"Chill Jasmine."
"Why you want me to chill? You didn't want to just chill when you knocked me up..."
"It takes two Jasmine," I said cutting her off.
"I was woke up out my fucking sleep with a horny ass dude roaming over my body," she shot back.
"Look, calm down. I'm sorry Jasmine, but we have to let that go and look into the future," I said kissing her cheek. She just grabbed her books and walked out her room looking sexy as ever. No matter if we're getting alone or arguing, this girl turnt me on. By the time I got outside, her and Katie was already inside my car.
