Chapter 4

My mom was excited to have me back home. Truth be told, I was happy to be back home too. The bad part about it was my mom making me go to school the next morning. School was school though, very fun with my new friend escorting me on his side. Dude flY with a capital Y.

"Jasmine!" my dad yelled from downstairs.

"Daaaadddddd!" I screamed running towards him. i haven't seen my father in 3 weeks, and i didn't know he was coming back today. "How have you been dad? Did you enjoy?" i continued. My mom was just smiling from ear to ear. My dad and I do this every time he returns home, and i think it makes my mom day.

"It was alright." I gave him one last hug and left him and my mom alone. He bought me a few things back from Alabama, i love my dad.

"Hello," I answered. It was Chad. He always call me around this time. "Hey beautiful. Can i come see you?"

"Yea, I also have someone i want you to meet." My dad is cool peps, he'll like Chad just fine. Plus, I found out a lot about Chad in this past week. He's the captain and best player on the basketball team, his family is filthy rich, he's never dated a girl at West Wade High, he's very smart, he's the only child like me, and i think i have him. Thinking of ball, I need to talk with the coach because i know they have started practice by now.

It took Chad no time to get to my house, and was I excited to see him. He didn't come off as excited when he saw who he was meeting. My dad winked at me once I introduced them, I guess that was a good wink. After my dad finished questioning him, we went up to my room. Well i was going to answer a phone call and he followed.

"Why didn't you tell me i was meeting your dad?"

"It was a surprise," I whispered answering my phone. "Hey!"

"Why didn't you tell me when you was leaving? i wanted to see you again Jazz," Mike quickly said as my eyes followed Chad around my room. He was being nosey. I didn't tell Micheal i was leaving because i really didn't want to do the whole goodbye, and i am getting over him. "I'm sorry, hold on...leave that alone," i yelled snatching my journal out of Chad hands. "Micheal can i call you later?"

"Who that is you talking to?" Ugh why do he have to be so difficult.

"His name is Chad, now can i talk to you later?"

"Who is he, you go with him?"

"No Mike, look i'll talk to you later," I replied haning up. He called back like 5 times, but Chad snatch my phone up and answered it. "Give me my phone," I said wrestling with him.

"Hello," Chad answered. "She'll call you back later man," Chad then hung up. Don't get me wrong, i really like Chad, but I'm not about to just do Mike like that because he was my baby and still is. i snatched my phone and sent Mike a quick text message before he killed himself and continued wrestling around with Chad.

"Who is the girls basketball coach?" i asked.

"Why?"

"Because I hoop."

"Liar."

"How?"

"You just too fine and girly to know how to play ball."

"Hahahahahaha really? i'll probably do you. Do me a favor though and tell the coach i wanna play. Tell him/her i'm new and just transferred."

"I'll put in the word." i really like Chad, like I'm digging him, and i know damn well he feeling me. i didn't noticed he was talking to me until he threw my pillow at me. Guy had me in deep thought. "Huh?" i asked throwing the pillow back at him.

"I asked who is the Mike guy?"

"Oh, Mike...he;s my ex from New Jersey. We still keep in contact a little, but it's nothing serious, Nothing you have to worry about, promise." I should have known he was going to want to know. i won't just drop complete contact with Mike, but i would let him no that i've started to move on.

"Well ok. Looks like he still have the hots for you though.He need to find out you mines now," and thats when his lips met mines. Then he was a great kisser. i wonder is it really a such thing as love and first sight. "You gone hit the party with me tomorrow? It'll be fun." he asked after that breathtaking kiss. i haven't partied in a min, and i do want to see how they get down party style.

"Might as well," i replied after deciding that i was down to party. He plastered a big smile across his face and kissed me once more. I could get use to those kisses. Chad stayed and chilled a little while, and was i happy. He act like he didn't want to leave, and i damn sure didn't want him to, but i had to spend time with my pops.

"So...is that your boyfriend baby girl?" My dad asked as soon as Chad left.

"Ummm...working on that now," i blushed and sat down next to him, "how was the trip?"

"Miserable, but fantastic as usual. Girl you know i be dieing on them trips away from my two favorite girls. it's tiring, and i think its about that time i get ready to retire. Just waiting on my baby to graduate." My dad is a travel doctor. He is one of the top doctors and travel everywhere operating on people. My mom always wanted to work, but my dad never let her, so she spends most of the time in the gym, and supporting my basketball career.

"Lets not rush it dad. i missed you. How long are you here for?"

"i didn't finish in Alabama. i took a plane here to see yall baby. I leave back out Sunday morning, but i'll be back next Monday." i hate when my dad has to leave, it just upsets me because he be gone up to months. I'm a daddy little girl, so i hate when he leave. i sat and talked with him until my mom got dressed, then they headed out on their date. i love my parents.

Since i didn't have anything to do, i called Katie over, but she was with her boyfriend Jake. i knew Chad was only a phone call away, and he was back in less than 20 mins. "You miss me already girl? Damn i'm good!" he said walking into my crib.

"Dont flatter yourself. I'm lonely, and plus i want to get to know you better. Why don't you have a girl?" He just don't know, but I'm about to grill him if he let me.

"Guess i didn't find anyone for me until i found you."

"And what makes you think I'm right?"

"Destiny Jasmine. Just in my heart."

"How many girls have you had sex with?"

"Excuse me? And what makes you think I've done that," he said laughing," but two girls. None from around the area. What about you?"

"I don't do girls, so none. And two, that's not so bad."

"Well excuse me then, how many boys? But i haven't had sex in like 8 months."

"Im a virgin. That's good though, but why?" I said positioning myself in a more comfortable spot on the floor. i don't even know why was we sitting on the floor.

"Because that's not all i want out of a relationship, and that's basically all what girls throw at me...but damn girl...a virgin huh? i pulled me a good one," he said puling me over to him.

"You dont have me," i replied pulling away from him, but boy was he strong.

"Girl i do have you," he said covering his mouth with mines. We finished up our little kissing session and talked somemore. I learned more about him, and truly like the fella.

By the time my parents showed back up, i was knocked out, and my baby was gone. YEEEEAAAAA, Chad and i decided on the relationship thing. The first person i told was my best friend, and she was happy for me. i can't wait until she comes down in 5 months for the summer. Things are going to get WILD. I love my bestie, and i'm so happy she's doing way better from the accident. Now i just can't wait until we reunite.
