4 Months Later

"No mom," I said dryly for the fifth time. I mean, she just kept asking me was I hungry was I hungry was I hungry. She was irritating the shit out of me. All I wanted to do was get home and see my baby. We have been going strong for four months now, and I've been loving it all. He said he was taking me out today, and that's all that has been on my mind. My mom always want to hang with me when my dad leaves, I guess so it'll take her mind off him.

"Well, off to the house then," she said starting up her new Benz that my dad just bought her. She's so spoiled from him. Hell i am too. "Hello," I answered Chad's phone call.

"Baby I'm at your house."

"I'm on my way."

"That must be Chad huh? Y'all don't get tired of each other? Tell my son I said hey." My mom loves Chad, and he loves her. She thinks we're going to soon get tired of each other because we be together everyday. I doubt we will though.

"He said hey mama!"

We finally made it home, and was I happy. "How was practice?" I asked Chad as he hugged me.

"It was good. You have it tomorrow right?"

"Yea."

Basketball has been going wonderful for me. I came to the team no-one, and now I'm a superstar. We have been on a winning spree, actually undefeated now. "Ready to go?" Chad asked me snapping me out my day dream.

"Sure."

We went back to his place, and my boo cooked for me. He's so romantic. He said it was his way of telling me that he really loves me. Yep...he finally said it tonight, but I didn't say it back...it was all still cool though. We watched movies, cuddled, kissed, and fell asleep. I didn't want to go home when it was time. I could stay around him forever.

"Jasmine, let me talk to you for a sec," my coach said motioning me to his office. "I like how you came in and start being a leader for this team. They was really missing one. I like what you did. The team wouldn't have won near as many games that y'all did this year. There are a few schools that's been contacting me for you, and I just want to tell you to keep up the good work. Since this is the championship game, go out and play hard, but most of all have fun."

"Thanks coach."

"No problem. Now get out there and get your team fired up and ready."

"Yes sir," I said making my way out of the locker room. This was it, the time was finally here. I was on the big floor playing for the big ring in front of thousands of people. Who would have thought that I would be leading my team to victory like this. I spotted Chad in the stands, and he blew me a kiss. I caught it and pressed it against my heart, then waved at my mom and dad. Yes, my dad couldn't miss this game for the world. Even though my bestfriend couldn't make it, I was still fine with that because I knew her problem.

"You did it Jazz," my team mate Alicia said hugging me.

"No, we did it !!!!" I yelled hugging her. I was on cloud 100 if you asked me. We won the championship game. I had 38 pts, 6 assist, 4 steals, and 6 rebounds. I showed my ass that game. I was so happy and excited that I didn't know what to do.

By the time I got home that night, it was about 11 p.m, and I didn't know rather or not I would be making the parties that were being thrown. I really wanted to, but I was tired as hell. I showered, didn't even eat, and went straight to sleep. Didn't even call Chad, but he would understand I'm sure, he always do.

Chad's POV

I called Jasmine about 5 times now, but my call keeps going to voicemail. I didn't even get to congradulate her after her game. She would have called me by now, but she still haven't. I didn't want to just pop up over her house since her dad was home, and he don't really play all that. Don't get me wrong, me and him get alone very well, but he still don't play about his daughter. I decided to give up, and just figured her phone was dead. I may just see her at one of these parties, since they are for the b-ball team, or for Jazz, MVP.

"What's up Chad? Where is Little Miss MVP?" my homeboy Jake asked me. His guess was just as good as mines. I've been to two parties already and haven't seen her nowhere. I drove past her house and didn't see her car parked where it's normally at, so I didn't know where the hell she was. It was really making me mad.

"Man...sad to say, but I don't have a clue where she is," I said scratching my head.

"Damn, well if you get in touch with her, tell her to come to this banging ass party," he said walking off. I just gave him a nodd, and went tp get me a drink. Before I knew it, I was sloppy drunk on the dance floor dancing with the school biggest freak, Macy. I really didn't want to party, but the alcohol was kicking in, and I was bored asf. That's when I realized my ex from ages walked through the door and caught eye contact with me right when I looked up. I didn't know what to think as she started walking towards me like we have been keeping contact with each other since our break up. Wonder what she's doing here.
