Bella's P.O.V.

The video chat between the Captain of HPD, the Governor of Hawaii, and the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury, must have not been going swell, curtsy of the stone hard expression on their faces. My attire did not faze Nick, since he knows first hand of the extent I would go to ensure the completion of my missions. But, I could not say the same thing for the Captain and Governor, for their expressions had taken a turn for the surprise.

Accompanying me in the room, was my team, and the three law enforcement that had walked in just minutes ago. I learned their names; blondie is Detective Danny Williams, the Asian guy's Detective Chin Ho Kelly, and the female is Officer Kono Kalakaua. They are part of the Hawaiian task force, Five-0. Their first in command, I presume his name is Steve yet that has not been confirmed, not currently present.

"You're ISA Pierce, the one handling this investigation?" Governor Denning cleared his voice, as he took in the faces of people present. His tone of voice had an edge of amusement, as he seem to take my attire quite unprofessional. "Governor, I assure you, that my attire is only the precautions I like to take when going out for missions. And yes, I am Initiative Special Agent Bella Pierce."

He seemed to be taken aback by my comment, but I could not blame him, people usually do not speak to a Governor like that, but I am not most people.

"Now, can we get down to business?" It was more of a statement than a question, but that is how it goes with Nick. "I understand that this man has terrorized your state more than once, but you have to understand, my team is the one that booked him, which means that they deserve to lead this investigate it until they reach court." There wasn't much to discuss with Nick's statement, and besides, who would actually have the guts to question the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Governor Denning sighed, his forehead painted with creases of frustration and tiresome, long hours at the office. "Director Fury, you have to understand, my task force has been hunting this felon down for years, from since the task force was formed. You have to understa-" The Governor's words infuriated me, which led to me cutting him off.

"With all due respect sir, but that man, that monster sitting inside of HPD's interrogation room, has killed my partner with the San Diego Police Department while I was consulting with their homicide task force. Pilov ordered his men to kidnap me, even though he did not even know what I looked like. He made them torture me for eight hours and twenty three minutes. I counted them, all of them. They made me watch as they put a bullet inside of Sammy Delano's skull and laughed as I struggled to save him. Detective Delano did not deserve to die, he has a wife and two children who will never get to see their father at their graduations or at their weddings. You have no idea to what extent I will go to make him pay, and not even the Governor of Hawaii will stop me."

I spat, as I took a deep, long breath. Everyone had fell into silence, tension cracking in the air as I closed my eyes and took another breath to compose myself. A hand fell onto my shoulder as it squeezed on it. I knew it was Matt, before I turned my head, my black locks flying in the air. Smiling genuinely at him, I turned to face the Governor. "I would apologize, but all that I said will not be taken back. I regret nothing of what I said."

Governor Denning coughed as he fiddled with the pens on his mahogany desk.

Nick sent me a look, which vaguely indicated the trouble I have placed myself in. "Captain, could you please step out of the room?" Nick asked, as he folded his hands on his glass desk. Glancing at the Governor for confirmation, the Captain of HPD walked grumbling out of the room when the Governor gave him an approving nod.
