Lorelie wandered through a shady forest filled with tall trees, her teal dress swishing around her ankles. She turned her body this way and that, peering around and pursing her lips in thought, Anolis had not come to Lorelie this time, causing the dragon-rider to become terribly bored. With a sigh, the ginger plopped herself down on a log, getting lost in her thoughts and memories. The last thing she remembered from the battle, was been thrown from her dragon's back and watching Atta plummet towards the ground several feet from the battle-ground.
Caspian had been there with Lorelie when she fell, he'd helped her back up again, that's when her memory cut off. She knew she wasn't still lying on the battle-ground, Atta would of checked there, that's how she found Anolis, so where in the world was she? In reality, not the current location in her mind.
Not knowing how long she had been trapped in her mind, Lorelie assumed it was a few days, weeks at the most. Anolis normally greeted her and informed her of Atta's whereabouts. Apparently she had been spotted, flying east with a red dragon. Only, lately, her visions had become dark. Shadows creeped and clawed around the edges of her mind. She had to escape somehow.
Lorelie's head made its way into her hands, "wake up, wake up, wake up" she mumbled to herself, her mind racing for some way to escape her imagination. When she didn't think of anything, Lorleie stretched out on the log and drifted off to sleep.
