Lorelie is in the picture(again)
On the forest floor, Lorelie lay, a little fox curled up by her side. Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted, her blue eyes snapped open and her lips parted in a small gasp. She stared up at the tree canopy for a moment, glad to of woken up. Slowly, she sat up, looking around and finally noticing the sleeping fox.
Lorelie frowned and poked it, the fox squeaked and jumped up. Seeing Lorelie awake, it jumped into her arms, she chuckled at its behaviour, and hugged it back. When she eventually managed to pull the fox off, she examined him. He wasn't a baby, but he was terribly small, and gorgeous.
"Off you go" Lorleie said to him, placing him on the ground. She lifted herself of the forest floor and looked around. She checked over her person, making sure her weapons, clothes and belongings were intact.
Lorelie signed, she wiped her cheekbone with the corner of her cloak, managing to scrape of some of the dried blood. She began to tread carefully through the trees, clutching at her injured arm as it throbbed.
The sun began to sink low on the horizon, when Lorelie eventually broke through the tree line and stumbled onto the dirt road. Looking behind her she finally noticed, the little fox, who had been following her the entire time.
The dragon-rider raised a brow at the little animal, pursing her lips. The fox sat down in her line of vision, staring at her with his adorable, big orange eyes. Lorelie heaved a massive sigh.
"Come on, then" she exclaimed. The fox's eyes lit up and her pranced over to his new friend, walking close to her side.
"You need a name" Lorelie pointed out, rubbing her chin in thought. The little red fox stared up at her, before becoming distracted by a moth that landed on his nose.
"Ronyo" The ginger muttered to herself, the little fox looked up at her and stretched up onto her leg, squeaking in agreement.
"Ronyo, it is" Lorelie smiled, scratching him behind the ear and continuing on her walk.
