Chapter Nineteen

Naruto's lips trembled as he eyed the male right before him.

'Sasuke...? No. Who is this? He's got the same Sharingan as Sasuke.'

"Really...who'd believe a kid like you to have the Nine Tailed Fox in him."
A sudden voice from the side startled the blonde as he flicked his eyes over to the blue-skinned male, whom appeared to look like a shark.

'Why does this guy know about the Nine Tailed Fox?!'
Naruto panicked inwardly.

"Naruto, you will come with us."
The raven-haired male exclaimed, leaving Naruto utterly confuse and scared of what's about to happen.

Where is he?! I have got to find him before he reaches Naruto...and when I found him, I will kill him!

Sasuke turned around the corner and sprinted towards a certain direction.

'He's close by...'

'He...'

Flashbacks of the horrific events started to form in his mind as he ran through the crowded street, determined to find his brother.

How long had he been waiting for the day to meet him. Every day, every second, every hour he had been training for this very day.

Yet, why does it make his heart feel uncomfortable.

Was he strong enough?
Will he be able to defeat him?

Turning a sharp corner towards another inn, he raced up the flight of steps while swiftly cutting through the corners of the empty hallway.

It doesn't matter. What matter most was to bring him down. It's now, or never.

"Long time no see...Sasuke."
Itachi's sudden voice made Kisame turned to face the new presence.

"Uchiha...Itachi!"

"Uchiha Itachi?!"
Naruto repeated, confused and a little scared.

'The same as Sasuke...an Uchiha.'
He thought.

Sasuke glared at the very being in front of him, his sharingan clearly activated.

"Huh? Sharingan? Furthermore, he resembles you a lot. Who the heck is he?"
Kisame asked with curiosity.

"He's my younger brother."
Itachi answers nonchalantly.

"But I heard that the entire Uchiha clan had been murdered by you."
Kisame reasoned, but was interrupted by Sasuke.

"Uchiha Itachi...I will kill you!"

"Just as you had said...I held a grudge against you and hated you. For the mere purpose of killing you, I have lived my life!"
He activated chidori with anger running in his veins.

"Sasuke!"
Naruto called in surprise.

"I will kill you!"
He slammed his fist in the wall as he ran towards his brother.

"Die!"
He shouted at the last second, yet was easily defeated with a flick of Itachi's wrist.

He clenched his teeth in frustration while glaring at the male, watching his brother's eyes reflect a sense of mockery and amusement.

As the jutsu died down, Itachi snapped Sasuke's wrist, with a mere comment of 'you're in the way.'

Pain shock though his arm as Sasuke screamed, holding onto his broken wrist.

Tch is that it?
Was that all he could do in the presence of the very male he had lived his life trying to kill?

Weak.
Pathetic.

Sasuke shut his eyes as he remembered the times they use to train together, and how his father would always compare him with Itachi.

Was he still that far from him?

Anger boiled in the pits of his stomach as he struggled to stand back up.

"Don't get in my way..."
He muttered, looking straight at the legendary senin.

"The person that's going to kill him...is me!"
He slightly panted, darting his attention back his brother.

"I have...no interest in you right now."
Itachi merely replied, causing Sasuke to balled his fingers into a fist.

"Don't mess with me!"
He shouted, swinging his arms back as he lunged towards Itachi.

However, Itachi kicked him straight in his gut, sending him flying back as he slammed against the end of the wall.

Why..?

Sasuke kept charging towards Itachi, but was sent flying back every single time while blood trickled down from the side of his mouth.

Why...?

He tried to stand, his hands trembled in agony as Itachi made his way over, slamming his knee on Sasuke's abdomen and punching him in other areas.

Our power difference hasn't changed at all since then...

Why is that...?

Blood spurted out from his mouth, as he fall onto the ground feeling numb from the pain.

What have I...been doing all this time?

Whatever have I...

Shutting his eyes, silent tears flowed inwardly as he bit his lips in frustration.

Itachi grabbed his collar effortlessly and slammed him against the same wall.

"You're weak. Why?"

He leaned towards him with a smirk dancing on his lips.

"Because you don't have enough hate."
With that, he trapped him in Tsukiyomi. Letting Sasuke relive the event he tried hard to lock away.

"You're not even worth killing, foolish little brother. If you want to kill me, begrudge me! Hate me! And keep on surviving in that unsightly manner..."

"Just continue fleeing and fleeing and hang onto your life!

Sasuke let out a cry as he gradually lost conscious from the mental damage he had been forced to go through.

I lost...yet again huh...

Pathetic...

Really...pathetic.
