The Noticable Pain- Chapter 5

"HAPPY BIRTHDAYBRIANNA!"

I sprung up to feel a big wet something on my face. I turned to my side and see a little tiny fluff of joy! Its a Rottweiler. A puppy! I smiled wide. I picked him up and he started to lick my face. I can't believe it!

"thank you! thank you!" I looked at everyone.I got up and gave the a big hug while the little fluffy puppy started to bounce on Austin, who is some how still asleep.

"alex... alex... get off of me.. stop licking my face..."

"um... Austin... im not licking your face..." as Alex enters the room. I really don't want to make eye contact with him. I giggled alittle at Austin.

"Austy.. its my new puppy!" I smiled. I went over to the couch and picked up my puppy. What to name him.

"well im gonna go shower! come on puppy!" I walked upstairs with my puppy following me.

"I just got licked by a puppy!" I heard Austin say. I rolled my eyes and went into my room. I shut my door and locked it. I stripped down my clothes and I saw the puppy looking at me. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my body. I sat down on the floor and I pet him on the head. I see him looking at my arms. He whimpered alittle and started to lick my arms. My cuts and scars. I started to ball my eyes out. He started to lick my tears away. Oh my! This Dog!

"what should I name you puppy..?" I stood up and went into the bathroom. I turned on the water and let it run as I think of a name. I step into the shower once it is hot enough. Scar.. what about scar.

"Scar come here." I asked. He came running in. I smiled. "scar." after I finished with my shower and got dressed I went downstairs holding Scar. I looked around and sat scar down.

"we are gonna have a party for you when the rest of the family and friends get here next week. okay sweetie." I nodded as I was playing with Scar, not really paying attention.

"thank you for him.." I smile at my Aunt and Dave.

"so, did you figure out a name?" Dave asked.

"no, no not really. I'm thinking really hard! promise."

It's been about an hour after we had cake, which I ended up throwing up anyway.. I usually can keep food down, but not cake apparently. I looked at Scar.

"Come on buddy lets get to bed" I smiled and watch him jump up onto my bed and spin in circles as he lays on my pillow. I laugh alittle. I heard a knock on my door.

"come in!" I say as my door opens and Dave walks in. I walk over to my dresser and pulls out shorts. I slip off my pants and put mt shorts on. I look over at scar who is whimpering at me. I look at my legs and I know why. I sit next to Dave and I watch as scar licks my Cuts. I smile.

"He knows you so well.." I nod.

"I named him Scar." and he barks alittle. "see."

"why scar?"

"because earlier when I went to get a shower, he did this." pointing to my legs. "and he made me cry and he licked it away and it just came to me. really."

"well happy birthday bri. goodnight." He left and I got under the covers laying my head next to scar and I shut off the light.

I let the darkness consume me once again.
