Ch 8

Andy had to take care of something for Mariana and I needed to pick up a book for my mom at the library so he dropped me off. When I got inside the library, I went to the Romance Section to find her book, 50 Shades Of Grey. Ed found me and came towards me. "Howd you get here?", I asked him. "Bus.", he replied. The palms of my hands got sweaty. Ed stepped closer towards me and wrapped his arms around me, pressing his body against mine. His face was just inches away from mine. "So youre never going to forgive me, huh?", he whispered. Then he slipped his hand under my shirt and into my bra. "How about we start over? That sound nice?", he said as he gently squeezed my boob. I pulled away and his hand came out of my shirt. "Go away", I growled through my teeth. "Being feisty? I like it. Babe lets just please forget about the whole Lily thing. She forced me to.", he said. Then he held me by my waist and pushed me against the bookshelf as he kissed me roughly. I tried to get away but his grip tightened. So i just stood there doing nothing at all as he shoved his tongue into my mouth. Then he pulled away. "Whats the matter? Is it not enough?", he asked. Then he pulled me against his body so much, I could feel his crotch. "No, Ed. Im dating Andy.", I said. "What?", he growled. I nodded and he let me go. "Well we'll see about that.", he muttered as he left the Romance Section. I slumped onto the floor with my back against the shelf and was filled with anger. I decided to call Andy. "Hello?", he answered with his deep voice.

"Hey Andy. Can you pick me up?", i said.

"Babe whats the matter? You sound...kinda mad.", he said.

"Well..Ed... Nevermind. I'll tell you when you pick me up"

"Mkay. Im coming with Mariana.", he said then hung up.

I looked around but didnt find the book. I asked the librarian but she said it was checked out. I sighed and walked toward the computers until I got a phone call. It was Andy. "MINA!! COME OUTSIDE TO THE PARKING LOT!!! NOW! PLEASE!'", Mariana screamed into the phone. I hung up and shoved it into my pocket as I ran outside. Andy and Ed were facing each other with angry faces and fists up. "HOW COULD YOU?! HOW COULD A FREAK LIKE YOU GET MINA?! ARE YOU SOME SORT OF MONSTER?!", Ed yelled as he swung at Andy. Andy blocked it and swung back. Ed fell onto the sidewalk with a bloody nose but that didnt stop Andy. He got ontop of him and threw about 4 more punches yelling "NO! IM ACTUALLY AN HONEST TO GOD PERSON AND I ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT HER! YOU *punch* WORTH *punch* LESS *punch*ASSHOLE! *punch*" Thats when I stomped over screaming like a crazy banshee. "GUYS! STOP FIGHTING!! GET OFF OF HIM ANDY!" Andy got up and Ed slowly did the same. I walked over to Ed and slapped him, getting blood on my hand. "LEAVE ME AND MY BOYFRIEND ALONE!", I yelled. I stomped over to Andy and grabbed his hand. "Lets go. I've had enough", i said. Mariana was in the car with pink, puffed up eyes. "Im sorry you had to see that, Mariana", i told her. She just nodded and started playing Temple Run on Andy's iPhone. We drove to my house since my mom was at the hospital with Lily and her mother. Mariana played in my room while me and Andy had a talk on the living room couch. He looked into my eyes and apologized. I just frowned. "Why? Why beat up Ed?", i asked. "Well he told me I will never touch you like he did everywhere- including that library", he said. "Then I figured out why you sounded angry on the phone and I just threw the first punch.", he continued. I just nodded and pulled Andy into a hug. "Im sorry. I shouldnt have told him that we were dating. I didnt know how much of a jerk he was until we broke up I guess." He pulled me back and kissed me. Just a peck. Then he smiled and asked if there were any spaghetti ingredients in the house. I nodded and got up. Mariana came downstairs and coincidentally- told us she was hungry. I raised an eyebrow at Andy and he just winked. "Im pyschopathic. Haha just kidding. She has this sort of schedule for hunger", he said. I simply shrugged and lead them both to the kitchen.

*45 minutes later*

"Spaghetti is ready!", Andy yelled.

Mariana and I ran downstairs from my to find the dining table ready with plates filled with spaghetti. It looked so delicious. Tomato Sauce on spaghetti noodles topped with Basil. Mmmm. We all sat down and gobbled it all down. I pulled out ice cream cones for dessert.

"Hey Andy, who won the talent show?", i asked.

"Umm-"

"Andy did! He always wins. Hes AWESOME at singing!", Mariana interupted.

"Shush Mariana. umm.. Well, yea i won but I just dont feel like a winner", he said.

"What did you do with the two hundred dollar prize money?", I asked.

"I used it to buy a gift"

"What gift and for who?", I demanded.

"It was supposed to be a surprise but Im taking you to Warped."

I gasped. Actually, i choked on my ice cream cone.

"ANDY!!", Mariana screamed. He walked over to me and did the choking thingamajib and it came flying out onto the kitchen wall. My throat burned.

"Holy *cough* *cough* WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!", I yelled, coughing dramatically while hyperventilating and blinking my eyes. "You choked.", Mariana said with huge brown eyes.

"Was it something I said about Warped?", Andy asked. I nodded, trying to calm myself down. "Its been my dream since middle school!", I managed to say, throat still burning. I grabbed my cup of water and swallowed it down. Much better. "Youve never went?", he asked. "Of course not! Its like too expensive!!", I said. Mariana got up from her seat and hugged me. "Its okay, Mina. I can give you money when I grow up", she said quietly. "No its okay Mariana. Im not poor. I just dont have enough money to shop and get band merch and thats why I dress like this", I replied pointing to my tank top. She sighed and let go, returning to her seat. Then Andy looked at her and they both looked at me. "We need to shop.", they said in unison.
