“Okay.” His thumb brushed my cheek.

I didn’t know what to say. My cut burned more than usual. Maybe it was because I hadn’t cut in a while, or burned. It was deep but not threatening. Well, I mean all cuts were threatening but…you know what I mean.

I heard Niall grunt in my ear and his voice next, “What are you thinking about baby,” his Irish accent rang out. I felt his lips press against my neck once, then stop.

“You,” I lied. I snuggled closer to him for a minute before turning over to face him. I laced my legs with his again and we stayed like that for a while, occasionally looking at each other’s faces, studying them to remember each line.

Sooner or later my parents got up and that meant we had to as well. We climbed out of bed together but not before a nice long kiss from Niall. I crossed my room in a timely fashion and just before opening my door I felt a hand squeeze my bum and I jumped. I turned around disgruntled as I saw a cheeky smile plastered on his face. I giggled.

We walked down the stairs and saw my parents sitting on the couch eating cereal and eggs. What a combo. I smiled at them, sitting together and laughing. They didn’t say anything to us other than “I love you,” and “Have fun” which I think meant, “we want you out of the house.” But that was okay with Niall, and I guess that was okay for me.

I grabbed an apple and my keys off the hook and we set out for a fun day doing whatever. Niall opened the passenger side door before quickly going around the front of the car to get into his seat. Looking back and forth between streets for fans and crowds. There was no one. He climbed inside and turned the ignition on and looked at me with a smile.

“So what is the plan?” He laughed. His hands on the wheel as he merged into the non-existent traffic, he was cautious and I appreciated that.

When I didn’t answer I noticed his eyes flicker my way, “how about the studio? I have to meet the boys there anyway. We’re recording parts of our songs I guess. You should come, love.” He flashed a smile. “I’ll sing for you….” his voice trailed off and it became raspy. I could see the lust creep over his features. He began to hum.

“Seems lovely,” I smiled and looked at his smile placed on his lips. I placed my hand on his knee and I heard his sharp intake for air. My smile grew wider as I focused my eyes on the road. I squeezed at his knee, making him jump slightly but I quickly released.

I slid it further up his thigh and I heard his voice break the silence, “as much as I enjoy this, I don’t want to get you in another accident.” His eyes were trained on the road, focused and his eyebrows firmly knitted together in concentration. He glanced over to me in the corner of his eye. “What?” he asked innocently, chuckling like a child.

I didn’t say anything as I slowly retracted my hand from his inside thigh and waited until we arrived at the studio. I hadn’t officially met the boys, except for Harry, who kind of saved my head from being smashed in…

Niall pulled into the parking space and faced me. His eyes squinted against the midday sun and his smile was beautiful. His hair was messy but it was the kind that was not supposed to be fixed. He unbuckled and got out of the car, I think he was going to open the door for me but before he could manage I was already stepping outside, feet planted firmly on the ground. He frowned and closed the door behind me.

There weren’t people around which surprised me because it was One Direction for crying out loud. I turned to Niall, “why aren’t there people here?” I asked, clearly confused.
