A little girl with raven hair was sound asleep when a boom was heard. She was woken up and got out of bed. When she walked out, she saw her parents lying in a pool of their own blood. She looked terrified. She screamed. The two men next to the parents saw the girl and smirked. "She will make a handsome price!" One said. The other laughed and they both knocked her out.

She was in an asylum, strapped onto a metal table. The men surrounding her gave a crazed grin while one held a silver knife. He mumbled something before swinging it down into the girl. "What a small body that hold such intense hatred." Said a voice. The girl floated around darkness. "W-who are you?" She asked. "I am a demon. I can form a contract with you if you desire." "C-contract?" The girl looked relaxed somehow. "Yes, a contract. I will grant your greatest desire and in exchange, I get your soul." The girl thought then said, "I want to etch the darkest nightmare into my enemies' memory then crush their life!" The voice smiled a wicked grin and said, "very well" and disappeared. When the girl came to, she saw a man in a butler's clothing carrying her. "You're awake." He spoke. She smiled. "There are a few things you must make clear. First, I need a name, and then a place on your body for the contract's seal." He said. The girl pointed to her left collarbone and said, "Dane." The demon smirked.

|Ruby's POV|

I awoke from my slumber by the sound of Sebastian's voice. "My lady?" I sat up. "It's dinner time, please meet the young lord in the dining hall." I nodded and he left. "Dane." He entered the room. "My lady called?" "Change me then take me to the dining hall." I commanded.

I was escorted to the dining hall by Dane and sat on my seat. "There's business we need to discuss, lady Ruby." Ciel said. I looked to him in response. "The queen sent me a letter. We have a mission together." I raised an eyebrow. "What case is it, this time?" "Jack the ripper"
