Cards vs Chess (Ciel x OC)

{Chapter 19}

|Ruby's POV|

Jade had come out from behind a tree and gave a bouquet of blue painted roses to Ciel. He looked shocked. I gave a giggle. "Those are painted, silly." He laughed. I looked at his laughing form. I admire his laugh. I admire his smile. I admire him. He stopped laughing when he saw one white, un-colored rose. Jenny then appeared and got out two paintbrushes. Ciel and I each picked one up. He looked to me in confusion but I beckoned him to paint the rose without the actual paint. Ciel and I both touched the flower with the paintbrushes and its petals swirled with midnight blue and scarlet red. He looked amazed. I chuckled. He noticed that the outer roses were red while the inner ones were blue and the center rose was swirled with blue and red. He turned to me and blushed. "Thank... you." He said. I responded by kissing him. I heard Jenny and Jade laugh but I didn't care. Awhile later, Dane got up and walked towards us. "We'd better get going. The forest gets dangerous after dark..." Dane scooped up me and Ciel and ran off. Jenny, Sebastian, and Jade followed close behind.

We arrived at the mansion. Dane has set us down and Gale opened the door for us with Nick beside him. "Welcome, prince Phantomhive and princess Colligor!" Nick said while bowing. Ciel blushed and I rolled my eyes even with pink dusted cheeks. Jenny and Jade went in first and came back out with a butler uniform. "Dane, you can change into these after transforming." Jade said while Jenny was offering the clothing. Dane turned into a white, small wolf that's about the size of a normal, teenage wolf. He took the clothes and ran off into his quarters. I led Ciel to his room along with his butler and Gale. "Since your manor is no longer safe, I suggest you stay here for the time being. I will check on your servants tomorrow." I said. He gave a nod. "Would you like me to bring them here?" Ciel looked thoughtful then shook his head. "I could go without them for awhile." I gave a nod. "Gale, prepare a bath for Ciel. Sebastian can help if he'd like." Gale bowed and walked off with Sebastian. "If you have trouble with something, you can call either Jade or Jenny to help, and if you get lost, feel free to ask any servant's help. They'll be around the mansion and they won't bite you." I told Ciel. He gave another nod. I dipped my head and walked out. I walked into my room and got out my nightgown. I changed and crept on my bed. Dane, research about lady Francis and this... Elizabeth. I commanded him. Of course, my lady. He responded. With that said, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

A grey wolf was carrying two people on his back. A small boy no older than thirteen and a little girl no bigger than twelve. A crow was perched on the boy's shoulder, watching the scene play out. "Who are you, Ruby Colligor?" Came a velvety voice from the crow. The girl smiled, then her voice was heard. "A tamer of beasts."
